I was inspired to focus on client success after overcoming two malignant brain tumors at 15, learning what's possible when teams align around common goals with clear communication and mutual support.

Cross-functional collaboration - I excel at facilitating communication between departments, ensuring seamless client experiences while keeping projects on budget and timeline.

Proactive account management - I treat challenges as opportunities, using analytical skills to identify solutions before they become problems. (Pivoted a critical La Familia anti-Fentanyl campaign after major stakeholder departure, leading cross-functional teams to successful regionwide deployment.)

Product expertise and translation - I absorb complex technical knowledge and translate it into revenue-driving outcomes for diverse decision-makers. (Helped Enovix distill 45-minute technical explanations into compelling 2-minute stories, supporting their $1.13B SPAC and $250M Army contract.)

Client retention and satisfaction - I genuinely celebrate when stakeholder connections I facilitate lead to breakthrough partnerships and business wins.

If your life fell apart tomorrow — I mean really fell apart — how many people in your network would actually show up?

September, 2002. I was 15, in the middle of chemotherapy, and running on fumes.

The anemia from treatment meant basic exhaustion was the default setting. My friends were back at school doing whatever 15-year-olds do. I was at home with a tube — a Broviac catheter — sticking out of my chest.

Not exactly a high point.

My dad came home from work one day carrying a gift from his colleagues.

They'd originally planned to send flowers.

Then someone in the group said — wait, he's 15. What's a sick teenager going to do with flowers?

So they got me a portable DVD player instead.

They were right. Completely, embarrassingly right. Flowers would have wilted in a week. The DVD player got used until the laser burned out.

A group of people who barely knew me stopped and actually thought about what I would want. Not what was easiest to do. What I would want.

And they got it right.


Here's what nobody tells you when they say "grow your network."

Those colleagues didn't show up because they were maintaining a connection with me. They showed up because they had a real one with my dad — built over years of ordinary, unremarkable moments that had nothing to do with strategy.

That's not a network. That's a community.

And you cannot build one in a crisis.

The clients who stay when things get hard, the colleagues who advocate for you when you're not in the room, the partners who give you the benefit of the doubt — none of that gets built during the renewal call.

It gets built in all the boring moments before anyone knew they'd need it.

My dad's colleagues skipped the flowers because they knew enough to do better.

That's the only kind of relationship worth building.
