I’ve been perimenopausal since 2019.
Full disclosure, I have the Mirena coil, and the progesterone could be helping me.
But it is not a coincidence that every time I have suffered a menopausal symptom it has been after a period of ignoring my own food advice!
When I eat in the Wide Eyed Way those symptoms disappear.
I knew it was due to the lifestyle I live and coach, but not the specific mechanism.
I discovered the specifics late in 2023.
I'm not anti HRT.
I just need women to know that changing the way they eat is a viable alternative because we all have an internal back up plan for this stage in our lives.
To take up the hormonal slack.

Sarah was suffering hot flushes, weight gain, crippling anxiety and mood swings.
