Responsible for the complete recruitment process. Tasks included but were not limited to compiling advertisements, conducting interviews and induction programs. Drafting employment contracts. Compiling company database. Training new employees. Taking part in recruitment exhibitions. Facilitating grievance meetings. Conducting team meetings. Company payroll processing. Developing employee wellness program.

Employee Success Manager

Developed all operational processes by establishing the Housekeeping, Customer Service, Account Management and HR department.   
Housekeeping - Trained housekeeping manager. Compiled instruction manuals for housekeepers. Researched most cost-effective ways to buy supplies. Sourcing of external linen providers to eliminate the need for inhouse washing of linen. Provided ongoing guidance. 
Customer Service (CS) - Trained CS representatives. Compiled manuals for CS procedures. Planned shift roster for staff as well as doing CS shifts when needed. 
Account Management - Conducted meetings with owners of apartments. Conducted inventory checks and 	handled all communication with owners related to their apartment.

Assisted with funding applications. Developed a training program for immigrant backgrounded women who were interested in Upcycling. Attended meetings and took minutes of the meetings. Conducted face to face marketing for Xmas store campaign. Manned the store and conducted sales.

Key responsibilities:

Manage the office and diary of the Secretary
Manage and maintain office filing system  and draft correspondence
Prepare and compile documentation for meetings along with minute taking
Track progress on operations within the Division

Executive Personal Assistant

Cape Peninsula University of Technology

Developed and managed  programs offered in the Unit of Life Long Learning. Compiled and administered the budget of Unit. Facilitated collaboration with government, community and business partners. Conducted training as well as arranged events and exhibitions.

Advise students regarding registration requirements and assist with registration
Process marks accurately in keeping with University procedures

At Familia Ry, our vision is to uplift the wellbeing of intercultural and multilingual families. I currently focus on strategizing, coordinating, and executing initiatives related to immigrant employment issues.

Our approach includes peer support groups, volunteer activities, and  information and counselling services to ensure holistic support.

My Belief:

Coming from an immigrant background, I deeply resonate with the struggles many face in a foreign land. It's crucial to acknowledge that while the immigrant community's challenges may differ, their mental wellbeing is paramount. Amidst an era of overwhelming positivity, my approach is centered around realism and empathy. I firmly believe in ensuring that everyone I work with understands that "It's okay to have a bad day, just not every day."
