Spentime was a dating website that allowed users to ask their crush out in a unique and creative way. The crush received a pixelized photo that became clearer over 30 days, and at the end of the countdown, they had to make a decision.

→ Could we use real user performance data to send better advice at scale?

The idea was simple (spoiler: the execution… a bit more challenging 😅).

❌ Most lifecycle flows send generic tips. That’s why no one reads them.
✅ We wanted to send actionable insights based on what users were actually doing.

So we built a new flow:
✅ It pulls data from BQ
✅ Processes it with n8n
✅ Sends personalized insights through Customer.io
