SPPL deals in manufacturing and trading of Engineering Plastics Compounds. I worked on research and development of polymeric compounds of Polycarbonate, ABS, PP, PBT, Nylon, and many other specialty polymers. A major project which I completed successfully, was on development of LED grade Polycarbonate material to be used in Lighting devices. Various other projects included incorporating heat resistance, fire resistance to various engineering plastics and PP. Color matching remains the most challenging task which can be achieved with accuracy and precision in weighing the colorants and other additives.

Overview of the Ammonia Manufacturing Plant.
It was a really awesome experience watching and understanding each and every unit operation of a process plant where almost all types of equipment and utilities are being used. DM water plant,  distillation columns, pump, chemical reactors, separators, chillers, large air compressors, steam reformers for Natural Gas (primary and secondary), Shift converter, CO2 removal, Sulfur removal are some of the highlights which exhilarated me. This experience greatly helped me in understanding subjects like chemical process industries/fertilizer technology.

I am a Petroleum Engineering professional, currently working at Zul Energy. I have worked for research and development of water-based drilling fluids, polymers, nanomaterials, engineering plastics and polymer compounds. During my PhD, I have developed a number of polymeric and nanomaterial additives and drilling formulations in the laboratory to control shale swelling, filtration loss, and rheological parameters of drilling muds (both water-based and oil-based systems). I have also worked on cementing fluids and developed cementing additive (polymer nanocomposite) to improve the filtration control, compressive strength and setting time for oil well cementing.

𝑪𝒖𝒓𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝑾𝒐𝒓𝒌:

I joined 𝐙𝐮𝐥 𝐄𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐲 in June 2022, to start my professional journey in Oil & Gas Industry and contribute to the company requirements with my technical expertise and R&D skills on chemical additives, nanomaterials and polymers. I have been incubated to the Marketing & Business Development teams to contribute to the Marketing Strategy, Market Research and Business Development for speeding up the growth and development of the organization.

Zul Energy is leading manufacturer and marketer of wide range of oil and gas chemicals based in UAE. It includes a complete range of premium quality chemical additives for drilling, cementing, completion, production, stimulation and water treatment chemicals.
