Account Manager - Customer Acquisitions

InXpress helps SME’s streamline their shipping processes, offers improved solutions and saves them time, effort and money through world class carrier partners like DHL and FedEx.

My role involved managing both Leeds and Manchester franchises, overseeing all the day to day dealings of both businesses, with a portfolio of over 400 customers.

o	Oversee all sales processes. Interviewed, hired and manage a team of 5 sales representatives. Restructured a weekly accountability programme to drive growth and reach targets. Cold calling and attending appointments on a weekly basis with our sales reps.
o	Responsible for setting out business plans and strategy for margin growth, whilst recommending staffing levels and investment within company budget.
o	Achieved a 24.8% increase in profits in 2013 from 2012 with a 29.8% increase in Revenue.
o	Achieved “Top Gun” status for 2014, due to being in the top 5 margin producing franchises in the UK (Total of 69 Franchises)
o	Conduct weekly training for both external sales reps and internal customer service team and also carried out monthly visits to top 25% of trading customers throughout the UK.

Franchise Manager

o	Main responsibilities focused on retention of existing accounts whilst finding opportunities for growth within those accounts.
o	Conducted monthly Key account visits to around 40 accounts throughout the UK.
o	Visited or called 200+ other lower margin accounts each quarter.
o	Achieved a 70% retention rate in each franchise.
o	Identified and delivered growth in existing accounts, 101% growth in 3 accounts in particular.
o	Cold called at times but mainly through referrals, activated over 20 accounts.
