Dr. Ram Chandra Barik received his PhD Degree from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering of National Institute of Technology (NIT), Durgapur on 20.10.2021. His PhD thesis and research work was verified by IIT Delhi Professor (Within India) and Toyo University Professor Japan (Foreign) with high appreciation. He received his Master of Technology (MTech) in Computer Science and Engineering from SUIIT Sambalpur University in 2011 (MTech research work in IIT Bhubaneswar).

Currently, he is working at C. V. Raman Global University as an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering(CSIT) since 23.3.2022. 
 
Previously he has worked as an Asst. Prof. and HOD in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Vikash Institute of Technology (Affiliated to Biju Patnaik University of Technology and AICTE) Bargarh, Odisha, India from 1.8.2011 to 22.3.2022.                  
                                                                                                                                                         
He had approximately two years of industry experience as a Software Engineer in Accenture Services Pvt. Ltd., Bangalore, India. Received Certificate of Excellence award from Accenture Services Pvt. Ltd. Bangalore for his outstanding contribution in 2007 June during Product release. 

Previously he has worked at Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology for 1.8+ Years as Lecturer in Dept. of Computer Science & Engineering and MCA.                                                     

His research area includes Computer Vision, Digital image processing, Pattern Recognition, AI, Machine Learning, Speech Processing, Information and Cyber security, and Blockchain.

He has 8 granted Patent, 1 Indian Standard patent filed and total 42 publications in Peer-reviewed Journal and Conferences which includes 6 SCIE, 7 Scopus Indexed journal in IEEE, IET, Springer Nature, Elsevier Publisher journal. He has 30 international conferences which are mostly indexed in IEEE, Springer. He chaired 3 International conferences 1) ICONIP, 22-26 November 2022, IEEE by IIT Indore 2) CIPR, 15-16 March 2024, Springer by MSCB University 3) ICETICT, 27-28 December 2024, Taylor and Francis by Driems University 

He was being sanctioned a TEQIP Project under the act of the NPIU Govt. of India through Biju Patnaik University of Technology.

He has successfully completed a worklet/project to Samsung as a MOU with C. V. Raman Global University in the area of Speech Recognition and NLP (TTS) using Deep Neural Network.
