I am managing UK billing operations for Telcoinabox Ltd, to ensure all telecoms bills are produced and reconciled as well as all supplier invoices reconciled against raw carrier billing data. A major part of this role is maintaining and updating the product and billing database utilising SQL, in effect being the manager and gatekeeper of billing, revenue assurance, price routing, and the product portfolio.

Key Achievements:

•	Designed revenue assurance methods with measures to detect billing anomalies and reconciliation of CDR data preventing losses and increasing profits
•	Developed and innovated new efficient workflows saving time and money
•	Transformed billing processes and developed automation for efficiencies
•	Facilitated methods to reduce revenue loss through reconciliation of accounts receivable vs. invoices

Amongst my greatest achievements during my time here has overseen the improved efficiency of several business processes, saving time and people’s power. This was achieved through auditing using Excel, innovating workflows including automation and database simplification utilising Excel and SQL.

Cada día recibo mensajes que suenan igual. Últimamente incluso en idiomas que no hablo. Sí, me han escrito en alemán.

Muchos vienen de personas que viven en países donde no trabajo, buscan roles que no gestiono o pertenecen a sectores en los que no tengo presencia.

Sí, puede que como freelance toque muchos campos diferentes y, al contrario que un recruiter de agencia que suele estar especializado en uno, yo esté especializada en varios de ellos. Pero eso no significa que tenga una varita mágica. De hecho, soy una sola persona y gestiono un número limitado de roles al mismo tiempo dependiendo del proyecto y su dificultad. No es lo mismo contratar a un ingeniero de ventas que a un metrólogo. 

¿Quieres realmente aumentar tus opciones de encontrar trabajo?

Haz crecer tu red, sí. Añade recruiters, pero hazlo con intención:

🔹 Recruiters que trabajen en tu provincia o país.
🔹 Recruiters especializados en tu área profesional.
🔹 Recruiters que estén gestionando ofertas donde puedes encajar.

Y antes de contactar:
✔ Asegúrate de que tu perfil está actualizado.
✔ Revisa que tu CV  también esté al día y sea claro.

Y un recordatorio importante:
Aunque estés dispuesto a mudarte, la mayoría de empresas priorizarán a quien ya está en el país. No significa que no tengas opciones, pero sí que la competencia local juega a su favor.

Si de verdad quieres que un recruiter pueda ayudarte, ayúdale a ayudarte.

Dirige tu búsqueda, selecciona bien a quién escribes y presenta tu perfil de forma clara.

Ayer me pasé por la cuarta edición de la Feria de Innovación y Nuevas Tecnologías ‘Jerez Digital 2025’, que este año se ha centrado bastante en lo audiovisual. 

Enhorabuena a la Cámara Oficial de Comercio e Industria de Jerez por la organización, y a Almudena López Fontán de CEN Cádiz por estar siempre al pie del cañón. 

Ya es la segunda vez este año que asisto a un evento en el museo de la Atalaya, aunque esta vez eché de menos a mis compañeros del Tech Innovators Summit, Carles Federico y Eduardo Marin. ¡Qué buen ratito pasamos hace unos meses eh! 

Como freelance estos eventos que ponen en valor el tejido empresarial de mi provincia, y en especial de una ciudad tan importante para mi como Jerez, son una oportunidad para salir de mi burbuja y relacionarme con otros; fomentando así relaciones ya existentes y haciendo nuevos contactos que en un futuro podrían convertirse en clientes o acercarme a ellos. 

Porque, por mucho que avancemos en digitalización, nada sustituye a las conexiones reales, las conversaciones espontáneas o compartir unas risas o un vino con otros profesionales. 

No tuve tiempo de quedarme demasiado, pero fue un gusto volver a ver caras como la de Paul o Ignacio, y compartir desayuno con gente que estaba en mi red y con la que no había tenido el placer de coincidir, como Vanessa de mowomo (en mi foto, y a la que estoy segura de que veré en muchas más), Carlos o Guiomar, también grandes profesionales.

Una parte importante de mi trabajo consiste en conocer personas, pero para ser buena en lo que hago también es importante saber conectar y estar presente. 

Mi trabajo se realiza genial en remoto… pero el ordenador debe ser una herramienta, no el centro de tu vida.

Gracias a quienes se esfuerzan por organizar eventos que nos permiten conectar de forma auténtica.
