I am managing UK billing operations for Telcoinabox Ltd, to ensure all telecoms bills are produced and reconciled as well as all supplier invoices reconciled against raw carrier billing data. A major part of this role is maintaining and updating the product and billing database utilising SQL, in effect being the manager and gatekeeper of billing, revenue assurance, price routing, and the product portfolio.

Key Achievements:

•	Designed revenue assurance methods with measures to detect billing anomalies and reconciliation of CDR data preventing losses and increasing profits

5 (quick) reasons to NEVER try text only posts:

1. A pretty image won't save it
2. It'll never stand out in the feed
3. If the hook sucks, the post dies
4. Readers can only connect with your words
5. Your writing skills is all you have to rely on

This is what most "experts" will tell you.

But for me it's fun (+ It forces me to write better)

For me, it's not about:

- Chasing trends
- Copying everyone else
- Doing what others tell me
- Trying to be someone I’m not

I wanna grow my biz and have fun doing it.

And if you have fun, people can tell.

P.S. Do you like text-only posts?

Before 2021 I never really got LinkedIn:

- I didn't see why people post
- I didn't see the need to comment
- I didn't see the benefit of connecting
- I didn't know how to DM people effectively

I was pretty bloody useless tbh.

Then something changed.

I finally started taking it seriously:

- Invested in proper coaching (not cheap courses)
- Paid attention to what was working for others
- Started tracking what was working for me
- Played the long game, not the quick wins

The difference wasn't talent or luck.

It was deciding to treat LinkedIn like a real biz tool.

Not just a social media platform.

Most people want the quick wins:

- The viral posts
- The quick hacks
- The overnight success

But the real money is in the boring stuff:

- Showing up consistently
- Building real relationships
- Testing & tracking the data
- Actually trying to help people

If LinkedIn's not delivering you the results you want.

You’re probably just doing it wrong.

5 LinkedIn rules I just LOVE to break:

1. I don't post every day
2. I don't do fancy graphics.
3. I don't comment for 2 hrs/day
4. I don't chase big creators and comment
5. I even do text-only posts when I feel like it

(I'm building a 6-figure business this way)

While some are busy creating carousels and scheduling 2x daily posts...

I'm just here doing my thing:

- Writing on here 4-5x/week
- Using simple words that connect
- Writing with the intention to help others
- Sharing real stuff from my journey
- Building real relationships in the DMs
- Tracking the data to see what’s working

I don't want to be LinkedIn famous.

I just want to help the right people find me.

And ya’know what? 

They do.

Breaking the rules is actually my best strategy 😎

1. Using AI comments

But ya'know what's NOT changing?

The stuff that actually works:

- Posting 4-5x/week (not daily)
- Writing simple posts using simple words
- Having real convos in the DMs
- Jumping on calls with actual humans
- Helping my clients get consistent results

Year 1 proved the basics work.

Year 2 is about turning up the volume (+ I can't wait) 🥳

97% of people get LinkedIn all wrong:

- they stare at a blank screen for 30mins
- they post random stuff and pray it works
- they think one day “the penny will drop”
- they try sending DMs, but feel awkward
- they have zero clue on what's actually working

I speak to people like this every single week.

It sounds so bloody frustrating tbh.

They're not lazy, they're just missing the roadmap.

Here’s what works for me (+ my clients):

Random posting = random results.

How I write my weeks content in 57mins:

- I open my laptop
- I look at posts I've screenshot for inspo
- I check my content bank from LinkedIn
- I open the drafts where I've saved ideas during the week
- I grab my cuppa tea (this is crucial tbh)
- I write 4 posts back to back while it's all fresh
- I schedule them all for the week ahead
- I close my laptop and forget about content

That's it. Done.

Some people spend hrs during the week writing content.

But I prefer to be in the DMs talking to people.

So many people get this backwards:

- They stress about posting every day
- They spend hours on graphics
- They overthink every word
- They give up after 3 weeks

NOT fun!

The only stuff that matters is:

1. Having real convos with real people
2. Building relationships that turn into clients
3. Tracking what's working and what's not
4. Actually enjoying this LinkedIn thing
5. Having more time for client calls
6. Making time to grow your biz

I'd rather write for 57mins on a Sunday eve than stress about content all week.

Ain’t nobody got time for that 👊

90% of it was completely useless.

Most LinkedIn “experts” are setting you up to fail...

They obsess over:

- Posting every day
- Commenting for reach
- How to get big engagement
- Building your personal brand

But they miss the part that actually makes money.

Turning attention into real convos.

Because buyers don't care about your follower count.
