Contracted through Insight Global to leverage expertise in Agile/Scrum methodologies to lead the adoption of the Large-Scale Scrum (LeSS) framework for Microsoft’s Azure Operator Distributed Services (AODS) organization.

Accountable for coaching delivery teams to ensure successful software delivery to clients for one of the nation’s most reputable companies in cloud computing, network security, data centers, and artificial intelligence (AI).

Led project kickoff events with clients to create product vision & roadmaps, evaluate success criteria, service agreements, responsibilities, initial product backlog, and outline project risks.

Developed and conducted an interactive four-day workshop (Agile for Great Team Players) to enhance advanced consultancy & leadership, story writing, conflict dynamics, and product ownership, employing an impactful learning approach (Training from the Back of the Room). 

Led a facilitation guild consisting of 30 facilitators coaching them on holding retrospectives to help delivery teams gather data, generate insights, discuss their findings, and narrow solutions to achieve actionable results.

Taught emotional intelligence techniques to teams and individuals using Mindfulness activities to bolster focus, concentration, acceptance, engagement, and exuding calmness to navigate a fast-paced environment. 

Guided teams to incorporate performance analytics to gain valuable insights and to set expectations with their customers. Optimized their delivery forecasting and metrics interpretation by applying Monte Carlo simulation and utilized cumulative flow diagrams to increase throughput and reduce cycle time.

Assisted with small-scale “safe-to-fail” experiments for teams to foster a nurturing culture and mindset centered on continuous improvement and adaptation by capitalizing on past failures.

Agile Coach & Agile Consultant

AT&T

Incorporated thought leadership and influential engagement to promote the benefits of Agile transformation for AT&T’s Integrated Cloud (AIC) organization. Utilized an innovative improvisation approach to cultivate an Agile mindset and gain buy-ins from skeptical individuals. 

Introduced Extreme Programming (XP) practices including pair programming, test-driven development, and continuous integration & delivery driving workforce optimization, efficiency, and long-term resiliency.

Accountable for 20 Scrum Masters leading individuals in establishing a collaborative vision while shaping their ability to be self-sufficient. Designed and implemented a training program for new Scrum Masters to help them expand on their existing foundational knowledge of the Agile mindset.

Agile Coach & Transformation Lead - AT&T Integrated Cloud

Oversaw two Scrum teams while contributing to AT&T’s evolving effort to scale Agile frameworks and promote business agility across the enterprise. Led one of them to achieve Gold-Level certification from the company’s Agile Center of Excellence.

Scrum Master

Significant deliverables included the ICD-t project from Jan 2008 to Mar 2012 as a full-stack developer. Collaboratively produced a web application that facilitated the simulation of interface agreements. Utilized JSPs, Servlets, JavaScript, XML, Dojo, JSON, AJAX, Java, Apache HTTPServer, Tomcat Web Container, Eclipse, Struts, Hibernate, and JBoss.

Prior positions included Java, C++, C, and Visual Basic developer, UNIX system administrator, and database administrator (DBA).

As a multifaceted, forward-thinking Agile coach, I have over 11 years of progressive experience in workforce optimization improving cutting-edge digital product development for Fortune 500 companies.

During this period, I have been recognized as an agent of change, trusted mentor, and subject matter expert in adopting teams to Agile, Scrum, & Kanban mindsets and frameworks to resolve conflicts and achieve favorable outcomes.
