I am a director of MLRO Support Ltd, a company which offers guidance to money laundering reporting officers in accountancy practices, and joint author (with Janet Bazley, Barrister of Lincoln's Inn) of 'Money Laundering for Lawyers: the new requirements and their practical implications' published by Butterworths.

Aside from helping firms with AML compliance my particular strengths are as a forensic accountant expert witness in criminal litigation and the presenter of technical webinars and author of over 100 technical blog articles on proceeds of crime and confiscation. I act as the key expert for prosecution and defence teams in relation to criminal investigations, including allegations under the Theft Act and Companies Acts as well as evasion of duty, drug trafficking, money laundering, conspiracy and common law offences; related proceeds of crime, confiscation and civil recovery proceedings.

My work includes examining evidence, preparing reports and appearing in court.

I am co-author, with Narita Bahra QC and John Carl Townsend, of a new book, 'A Practical Guide to Confiscation and Restraint', published in February 2022.
