The mission of The Work Happiness Project is to humanise the digital work environment by connecting remote teams stronger than wifi. I have created a set of fun, yet, meaningful team building workshops to help your team get to know each other outside of work, connect deeper with each other - and themselves. So that they can work from anywhere while still feeling connected to everyone. 

My big goal is to inspire employees to thrive - not just survive by redefining the definition of a holistically happy life to help them live up to their fullest potential - personally & professionally. 

HOW?
By helping employees to charge their own batteries first, to then be able to give more to others and eventually create a positive ripple effect into every area of their lives and everyone they encounter.

I used to think I could date Justin Bieber.🌹
Now I hesitate to send bold emails...what happened?

Ever feel like your younger self had more guts than you do now?
The one who believed anything was possible?🦸‍♀️ 
Yeah...s/he might be onto something.

A few weeks ago, I went on a little work-ation with one of my oldest friends. 
We’ve known each other since we were 10 and I found myself saying:

“If I could recruit anyone to lead my mindset today, it’d be 18-year-old me.
Title: Head of Confidence.
Skills: Delusional optimism, zero fear of rejection, unstoppable energy.

She just WENT for whatever she put her mind to.
And everything seemed to miraculously work out. Like there were NO limiting beliefs - I legitimately thought if I wanted to date Justin Bieber, I could. 😅“ 

It’s like confidence wasn’t a skill back then, it was my default setting by nature.
And truthfully: I sometimes miss her.🥹

Fast-forward a decade (*and a few more bonus years) 🔮:

Yes, I’m still an eternal optimist…
But the more you ask for in life - and business - the more No’s you’ll hear.
Sure, the Yes’s grow too - but statistically, you hear a whole lot more No’s just to get a single Yes.

That’s just mathematics.🧮

Over time, the rejections pile up.
So…
We shrink.
We start asking for less.
Dreaming smaller.
Wanting only what feels "realistic.”

Well, at least that’s what I thought and the humbling conclusion I came to myself.

Until my friend looked at me and said:
“Bullsh*t, Nini. Your ambition didn’t get smaller. Your dreams just got BIGGER.” 💥

And it clicked.💡

💘 At 18, I wanted to (…and DID 😜) date the most popular guy in school.
Now, I aim to cure the global loneliness pandemic - by meaningfully (re-)connecting people with themselves and each other, one eyeConnect game at a time.

🎤 Back then, I gave speeches as the president of the biggest high school in the county.
Now, I want to speak on global stages and inspire people to live lives true to themselves.

⚽️ In 2012, I landed my “dream job” serving tables in VIP lounges just to sneak into the Champions League final of my favorite team for free.
Now, my dream is to work with global companies - from Bali to Sydney - to create „TGIM“ (Thank God It’s Monday!) cultures where people don’t fear but get excited to go to work.

It’s one thing to be a big fish in a small pond.🎣 
But being that same fish daring to make waves in the Oceans of the world - Way scarier but infinitely more rewarding.🌊

Now that’s where the magic (and growth) happens.

So, here’s a message from the ‘confidence department’ of 18yr old me & the ‘valuable life lessons’ department of 31 yr old me 🤝:

Your dreams grow in proportion to your capacity to realise them.
Don’t let the size of your vision make you feel small.

All it takes is:
 💫 Unwavering belief (in yourself and the process)
 💫 Extraordinary effort
 💫 And a little sprinkle of patience, trust, and positivity

Even Cinderella said:
“A dream is a wish your heart makes.” 🎶💚

New year, NEW me? ❌ 
New year, same me - just upgraded. ✅

We don’t spend 365 days living, learning and growing just to completely reinvent ourselves because the calendar flips to January 1st. 📆 

And honestly, as someone who runs marathons for fun and hosts Bucket List workshops for a living, let me say this with love 💚: 
Take the pressure off yourself. 😮‍💨 

Not every year needs to be bigger, better or bolder than the last.
Life isn’t a race. It’s a game. 🎲 
And most of us are simply figuring it out as we go.

Just like we review our business year or update our phone software, it’s worth pausing to reassess our personal lives too.📝  

Because running your life on outdated software will eventually slow you down.🐢 

So instead of setting “better” goals, maybe it’s time to ask better questions - and be a little more honest with the answers. 💬  

Think of it as Spotify Wrapped… but for your life. 🎧 

Keep what worked. 🧘‍♀️ 
Let go of what drained you. 👋 
Upgrade what no longer fits. 🚀
