3½ years ago, I left the University of Wisconsin-Madison, no longer able to pursue a path that didn't fuel my passion. 

I returned to my roots: hotels, a cornerstone of my childhood.

At four, my life revolved around the family-run motel in Iowa; we lived there, and I immersed myself in its operation. 

This upbringing taught me the hospitality industry's intricacies and the value of stellar customer service.

Fast-forward, and the former biology student pivoted to economics, joining a commercial real estate firm, taking my childhood pastime from nostalgia to career. In under two years, without formal education in the field, I landed a Senior Analyst role - proof that passion, knowledge, and experience are formidable assets.

Now, I’m committed to sharing what I’ve learned and helping others learn about this powerful asset class.

• Conducting due diligence on prospective clients for new deal creation, based on financials and external data sources.
• Conducting proper KYC due diligence - PAN, UDIN, GST, ITR and other verification's.
• Various Due Diligence check- Negative checks, Dedupe check, Credit Check- Composite Check, Name Check, CIBIL Check- Consumer CIBIL, Commercial CIBIL
• Pitching to clients right set of product mix including fund-based assets like term loans, working capital financing as well as non-fund assets like bank guarantee, letter of credit etc.
• Checking early warning signals of any potential stress in existing client portfolio (Sending them to Astar Account)
• Executing exit strategies in potential stress cases or doing risk mitigation strategies that may include building up more comfort in terms of pledged collateral.
• Ensuring post disbursement compliance of all sanction terms, regular monitoring of covenants classified 
• Periodic client site visits and consortium lending meetings.
• Repricing of existing loans as per requirement basis, due to competitive scenario and financial health of company.
