Fast tracking fashion to be more sustainable

Cofounder of My Secret Stylist, a new concept store for fashion retail.

Working alongside Cristina Holm, My Secret Stylist’s SME - with 33 yrs of fashion & retail expertise, the last 17 years as a pioneer in personal styling.

Supported by a fantastic team, including retail operators, exited founders and highly skilled tech personnel.

I share Cristina’s passion - which is to transform how people feel about themselves through what they wear.

Underpinned by my personal passion to help prevent waste in an industry begging to be more efficient.

We’ve spotted tech is under-utilised when it’s focused on cost cutting.

Our tech is all about step changing productivity.  Where our tech underpins great service.

Doubling turnover.  In a smaller footprint.  3-5x more profitably.

Hence, My Secret Stylist was born.

Not to say it’s been created overnight.  It’s been a long and tough journey to this point.

Yet… I’ve never been more excited and motivated!

As we’ve learnt so much along the way and now positions us well for what’s coming.

Cristina and I have already invested >£500k to date (which we earned working full-time and more recently part-time), the majority of this spend on building our proprietary software systems which underpin My Secret Stylist.

We’re bringing back the joy and confidence of shopping, via a new concept store that brands hire, precisely where and when it matters most.  Offering their customers a one to one service and unique shopping experience they’ll tell all their friends about.

My Secret Stylist is unlike any other store - it’s a scalable, profitable growth engine for the next era of fashion retailing.

ABOUT ME

FMCG trained. Expertise in project management, selling, customer marketing, account management and business development.  Multiple channel retail experience (supplier side); publishing and field marketing.

Numerous standout successes to date within large, mature markets.  Owing to strengths interpreting data, problem solving and creating new processes which empower people to work smarter and more efficiently.

Career also includes 14+ yrs project managing major CAPEX construction projects.  Specialising in Airport & Science Park facilities.

All of which supports this career defining project, the multi billion pound opportunity I’m now working on.

I’m passionate for startups and glueing society back together.  Keen (but fair weather) golfer and lover of all sport.  Playing and watching… :0)
