Developed and managed operational processes with special focus on alliances. Addressed operational and communications needs during a time when the Cooperative Research Network assumed new utility members, roughly doubling the membership served under a significantly reduced budget. Recruited team that developed the proposal for a $34 million DOE grant (a $68 million project) for the NRECA Smart Grid Demonstration with over 20 cooperatives. Led recruitment of coalition of electric cooperatives for the Demonstration. Raised $34 million in cost share commitment from over 20 cooperatives in four months. Post award: The team developed internal processes across multiple departments drawing on over 50 staff members.

Operations Manager

Manage in consulting arrangement operations and communications for Cooperative Research Network (CRN), research arm of the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA). Develop due diligence process for research project development and vetting.  Developed first technology trends conference for members. Manage CRN’s website and its electronic communications.
