Required to react and manage disposal issues on a daily basis due to operational failures to ensure best practise, cost effective solutions are maintained whilst not compromising compliance. Excellent communication both internally with operational staff and externally with the contractor. Able to make quick decisions at times under severe pressure to ensure costs are minimised and avoid STC’s from being overloaded. Required to chair regular meetings with Operational teams to review and drive initiatives. In particular driving reductions to planned tankering from satellite WTW’s, optimising vehicle movements to deliver least cost haulage whilst achieving optimum CHP benefit from the relevant STC sites. Required to work with the contractor and identify opportunities for change and innovations to improve performance. Including driving efficiencies both in the contractors operations and also Southern Waters to ensure maximum benefit is derived from a close and collaborative relationship.

I've successfully delivered a variety of Fuel Supply and Service Agreements across EfW, Recycling, Local Authority, and Agriculture. My expertise spans Biosolids and Organics Recycling, Logistics and Road Haulage, Process Optimisation, and Energy Recovery (AD & CHP).
