The perks are pretty obvious…

But the curse?
 👉🏼 People underestimate you.
 👉🏼 Your success gets credited to who you “know.”
 👉🏼 Some women won’t take you seriously.
 👉🏼 Some men will, but for the wrong reasons. 🙄

Emma told me that in the beginning of her career, some people literally REFUSED to meet with her:
🗣️ “Too pretty to be serious.”
🗣️ “Why does she dress like that?”

I’ve been through that too.

It’s almost like people think the only thing you’re good for is looking good!

But here’s the TEA:

When people underestimate you based on your looks, it’s honestly a superpower. 💡

They don’t see you coming. They’re not prepared for your intelligence, your execution or your results.

And when you prove them wrong? It’s PRICELESS. 🔥

I didn’t build an 8-figure company because of how I look.

I built it because I can:
 ✅ Execute under pressure
 ✅ Deliver results
 ✅ Lead teams that perform
 ✅ Create value that lasts

Pretty privilege might open the door,

But only substance keeps you in the room. 💯

Because betting against pretty AND smart?

That's just stupid. 😉

I started a media company from scratch with a team of volunteers that’s now on track to make 8-figures this year.

I've been posting on LinkedIn for 7 years.

Back then? This platform was gold for real connections and industry insights.

But now?

📉 Median impressions are down 65% below the 2023 peak
📉 Growth for the average creator is down 20% since Q2
📉 Median impressions are down 18% since Q3 2024

According to the The Q3 State of the LinkedIn Algorithm Report from Chris Donnelly and Will McTighe ☝🏼 

But while everyone's complaining about the algorithm shifts...

I'm doubling down on what actually works:

✅ Educational and actionable content that solves real problems.
✅ Sharing stories only I can tell from my experience.
✅ Writing about controversial topics to encourage conversation.
✅ Consistently learning, adapting and pushing out quality content.

Fine by me.

People say it with a smile, as a compliment, 
never realizing they are standing at the edge...
of a story that almost never made it this far. 

They do not see the teenager running from a war-torn homeland, crossing borders with more questions than belongings, learning new languages while trying to forget the sounds of explosions and shattered dreams... 

They do not see the girl who started her degree, once, twice, three times in three different systems, sitting in classrooms where few knew her name, refusing to let interrupted education become a permanent sentence.​

What they see now is the Founder & CEO, 
the global thought leader, the woman on stages and screens, talking about AI, leadership, and transformation. 

They see the degrees, the bestselling book, 
the Top 1% global podcast, the global clients, 
awards and the polished LinkedIn profile...

But they do not see of long nights spent studying in hopes of better future, translating grief into grit, or the mornings where “keep going” was the only hope and strategy.

Death of perfection…
Is a breath of momentum.

Perfection is one of the greatest illusions in leadership. It is a silent saboteur wrapped in good intentions.

We chase it because we believe it will make us better.

We pursue it because we fear judgment, mistakes, or missteps.

But what perfection really creates is paralysis.

It slows innovation.
It delays decisions.
It suffocates creativity.

And worst of all, it convinces brilliant leaders to hold back until they have “more certainty” or “more clarity”,  both of which never fully arrive.

The moment perfection dies… momentum is born.

Momentum does not need flawless conditions.
It does not require unanimous agreement.
It does not wait for every risk to be neutralized.

Momentum is fueled by courage, not certainty.
By progress, not polish.
By leaders willing to move forward while others are still rewriting their strategy decks.

Every high-impact transformation I have led across cities, governments, Fortune 500s, and global teams, began with one truth:

Momentum is stronger than perfection.

In times of rapid change, disruption, and technological acceleration, perfection is a liability.

Momentum is a competitive advantage.

This Zoom team interview is unforgettable… for cross-cultural work effort. 

A candidate from Brazil showed up to his interview… attempting 👳‍♂️ to wear a Middle Eastern traditional wrap on his head as a heartfelt gesture of respect.

What gets me every time is laughter, the good kind, genuine laughter.

The human kind.

These 10-Question Outcome Test

Ask your team, and yourself, these questions every week:

• What meaningful change occurred because of our work?

• What decision moved forward this week?

• What problem was actually solved, not discussed?

• What impact did our actions have on customers, employees, or stakeholders?

• What did we stop doing that no longer adds value?

• What barriers were removed that improved speed or clarity?

• What outcome can we point to that did not exist last week?

• What activity are we doing out of habit, not effectiveness?

• Where are we creating noise instead of results?

• If all our activity disappeared tomorrow, what outcomes would remain?

If the answers aren’t strong, the strategy isn’t strong.

Track outcomes.
Eliminate noise.
Lead with intention.
That’s how real transformation happens.

Protect your energy like it is a strategic asset.
Because it is.

Most leaders do not burn out from working hard.

Not every meeting deserves your presence.

What if the road to COP30 was paved not just by policy papers but by youth, capital, and climate leaders building together in real time?

That is exactly what we experienced from the studio in Beverly Hills.

What an honor to help shape the road to COP30 Brazil in Belém by both moderating and speaking at the Purpose-Driven COP30 Climate Leadership Forum. 

I had the privilege to moderate a youth panel filled with thoughtful, values-driven contributors.

The future looks bright with such caring young leaders eager to make a meaningful impact.

In addition, I also spoke as a panelist alongside tremendously talented contributors, including Kamil G., making the conversation as insightful as inspiring and impactful.

From COP30, five priorities stand out clearly: 
• Scaling climate finance
• Tripling adaptation support
• Speeding up real delivery on global climate commitments
• Protecting forests and vulnerable communities 
• Putting youth leadership at the center of long-term decisions

This gathering brought together global leaders, investors, and innovators who understand that youth are not just “the next generation,” but essential co-architects of climate and sustainability solutions today.

Grateful for the collaboration with Paris Collaborative as a Global Fellow, amplifying youth perspectives and connecting them to concrete pathways into climate leadership and impact. 

Deep appreciation to Anand Singh, whose vision through Beverly Hills Family  Office Network and Davos Worldwide made this purpose-driven platform possible, and to the inspiring leadership of Sangeeth Varghese and Nanda Kumar Janardhanan, each bringing a powerful global lens to sustainability and policy.

What stood out most was a shared commitment: 
• Moving from promises to practice
• From panels to partnerships that fund, mentor and scale

Walking away from this forum, the message is clear: 
When youth, capital, and climate leadership collaborate with intention, we do more than shape a sustainable future. 

We accelerate it.
