→ Slower, but for good reason - scale is massive
→ Can't break things when serving thousands of users
→ Learn: systems, documentation, thinking at scale
 
𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗽𝘀 (𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗮 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲):
→ Try things, fail fast, learn faster
→ Test new tools everyday: Figma, Vercel, Claude, Google Gemini, Pencil.dev and thousand more
→ Speed matters, market and investors won't wait
→ Can experiment without breaking the world
→ Learn: what actually works vs. what you assumed
 
𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲'𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗜 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗱:
 
Both are necessary. Both teach you different things.
 
Corporate taught me discipline. Startups taught me speed.
Corporate taught me process. Startups taught me when to ignore process.
 
𝗥𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗻𝗼𝘄?
 
I'm more excited by the startup pace. You can risk. You can investigate. You can fail. It feels exciting and new every day 💖🔥
 
And failure? Everyone says "learn from failure", sounds cliché. But it's totally real.
 
Looking back at ventures that didn't work: those are the lessons I carry. The things I don't repeat. The people I met, what they taught me. 
 
Not saying one is better. Just saying where I am in my journey right now.

Web3 identity is having a moment.

Seeing more projects working on verifiable credentials, decentralized identity, reputation systems.

What's different now vs 2021:
→ Less speculation, more actual use cases
→ Privacy tech (ZK proofs) actually works
→ Regulatory clarity improving (eIDAS 2.0 in EU)

What's still missing:
🚨User experience! We have some work to do here.
Most solutions still feel very crypto-native. Too much jargon. Too many steps 🥲

Our bet at Centomila:
🟣 Users shouldn't need to know it's blockchain.
🟣 They should just see "verified" and trust it works.

Like when you see the blue checkmark - you don't think about the backend systems. You just know it's verified, right?

That's where we need to get.

It's a fact: Toxicity is a huge problem in the #gaming ecosystem. How will this be solved? How could we help gamers to identify these flamers, smurfs, trolls...? 

For me, it's also very worrying to think about little gamers, these young kids out there facing this! It's not fair.

Actually, after having a few conversations with Sergio De Prisco, I realized there is a way to solve this #toxicity! There is a way to trust again on the Internet. The first time I heard about this visionary concept, it blowed my mind...and now this is becoming a reality? Why is toxicity in online gaming accepted as normal?
We came across a long Reddit thread asking exactly that question. 

And what struck us was not the anger. It was the clarity.

Many players are saying the same thing:

💬 Muting toxic behavior is not fixing it.
💬 It is just learning to live with it.
💬 When the solution is always “mute and move on”: Good players disengage.
💬 Public spaces empty.
 
And the only voices left are the toxic ones.
Some comments pointed to something interesting.

Older games had persistent servers.
You played with the same people.
Reputation followed you.
If you were helpful, people remembered.
If you were toxic, people called it out.

And if you kept it up, you were removed.

Modern matchmaking removed that memory.
Every match is anonymous.
Every account reset is a fresh start.
There is no long-term cost to bad behavior.

That is how toxicity stops being exceptional.
It becomes normal.

This is not a player problem.

It is a systems problem.

When reputation has no memory, behavior has no consequences.

It is worth reading, especially if you build or design games.

40 Years of 𝗕𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 Become 40 Years of 𝗕𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗪𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴.
AI is obsoleting the manual UX process I spent four decades evangelizing. Should I be ashamed? No.

When I taught the 𝗼𝗹𝗱 ways, they were the 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 ways: the best path to usable products until the release of GPT-4 in 2023. My only error was assuming that what worked for 40 years would keep working forever.

Here's what I've learned:

🔍 The legacy UX process was indeed the 𝗯𝗲𝘀𝘁 practice from 1983 to 2022. It still functions, but it's fading fast.
🤖 By 2030, superintelligent AI will handle everything UX professionals once did manually.
😤 My one regret is not predicting the AI Revolution sooner, but shipping products in 2022 still required traditional methods.
🚀 UX is not a doomed career. The tasks are changing, not disappearing. They're moving 𝘂𝗽, not 𝗼𝘂𝘁.

The skillset is becoming obsolete. The discipline is ascending. Pivot accordingly.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘄𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝘀𝗽𝗼𝘁? 𝟴𝟬%. Not perfect. Not messy. 80%.

This is what it's working for me 🔥

𝗜𝗻 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗽𝘀:

• 100% perfect = too slow, market moves on
• 50% done = breaks, users leave
• 80% = good enough to ship, learn, iterate

What this looks like in practice:

We are launching Centomila beta at 80%. Some features missing. Some bugs. But functional enough to test with real users.

It's complex enough to try to make it perfect! Result? We learned more in 2 weeks than 2 months of internal discussions...and these can be philosophical and long! haha

𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱?

Different game. When you're serving millions, you need closer to 95%.
One bug affects thousands. One downtime costs millions.

The shift:

Moving from Ericsson to startups meant recalibrating my "good enough" meter.

Still learning when to ship at 70-80% vs. when to push for 90%.

The trick:

I am trying not to see the result from the moment 1, it's frustrating and almost impossible! The only way to get to this 80% is by doing, building, failing, testing and knowing what damage 20% missing can cause.

𝗜𝗳 𝗶𝘁 𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸𝘀 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁? 𝗚𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝟵𝟱%.

If it's a feature we're testing? Ship at 70-80%.

Anyone else struggle with this? For designers is a huge thing I think! 🤔

Imaginación Aumentada: Reflexiones desde el #Mabe Talk #Summit 🚀

El jueves pasado tuve el honor de dar una charla en el Mabe Talk 02T2 "Imaginación Aumentada / Being Digital" y fue una experiencia increíblemente enriquecedora!

Hablé sobre cómo integramos IA en el Design System de Ericsson a escala global (+200 equipos, 3,000 usuarios), los retos reales de hacerlo en una organización de 100,000 empleados (spoiler: aprobar herramientas lleva ~1 año 😅), y el contraste entre velocidad corporativa y mentalidad startup. 

Lo más importante: cómo la IA está transformando no solo herramientas, sino metodologías y perfiles profesionales.

Lo que me llevo: Me encantó la reflexión de Rosalba Cobos, (Titular de Gestión y Vinculación del Centro de Tecnología en Mabe Querétaro) sobre las nuevas generaciones, son AI native pero necesitan fortalecer fundamentos de diseño. Ese "por qué" detrás de cada decisión que la IA no puede dar. Totalmente alineado con lo que veo cada día ☺️⚡️

Y Martin Ortega Breña (Líder de Diseño en Mabe) lo clavó: no hay que tener miedo a la IA, sino aprender y probar constantemente. Justo lo que siempre digo: los seniors tienen que experimentar sin parar, y los perfiles cada vez son más híbridos. Ahí está la evolución. 

Y sobre todo mil gracias a Ale Méndez, CEO de EVA y consultor de IA para mabe Global, por esta oportunidad increíble y por crear espacios donde podemos tener estas conversaciones tan necesarias 😍

How to build premium pitch decks in Lovable 🔥

I've seen a lot of founders and agency owners recently build their slide decks with Lovable, so I created a guide for you to do the same.

Here's how it works:

1/ Start by giving Lovable the full picture
Before you touch a single slide, tell Lovable who you are, who you're pitching, and what you want them to feel by the end.

→ Prompt: "I'm building a pitch deck for an early-stage startup pitching seed investors. The tone should feel confident and credible, and the design clean and modern. Let's build it slide by slide."

2/ Set your design system before anything else
This is the mistake most people make. They jump straight into content and end up with a deck that looks different on every slide. Spend two minutes on this first.

→ Prompt: "Define a design system for this deck. Dark background, white text, single accent color. One display font for headlines, one clean font for body copy. Generous spacing throughout."

3/ Build one slide at a time
Prompting your entire deck in one go will get you something generic. Build one slide, get it right, then move to the next. You stay in control of the narrative that way.

→ Prompt: "Now add the next slide. The goal is to clearly explain what we do and why it matters. Should feel simple and compelling."

4/ Use feeling words to shape the vibe
Instead of describing layout, describe how the slide should make someone feel. 

Try words like "cinematic," "editorial," "tactile," "confident," or "bold and ambitious."
