With 2 decades of experience in Nigeria, Saudi Arabia, and the UK, I’ve worn many hats: emergency medicine doctor, healthcare executive, startup advisor, and business strategist. 

My journey has taken me from frontline clinical care to the boardroom, where I now partner with healthcare founders, executives, and innovators to scale their impact and navigate the complexities of leadership.

I actively contribute to shaping the content and strategic direction of HBR. By providing insights and sharing my perspectives, I help influence the development of ideas that resonate with global business leaders and drive thought leadership in management and leadership.

Johns Hopkins Center for Communication Programs

Program Management:
•	I led the domestication of the WHO framework "Achieving Well-being: A Global Framework for Integrating Well-being into Public Health in Nigeria
•	Led the successful development and rollout of 4-year Advocacy, Partnership, and Communications strategies at the national/sub-national levels, resulting in improved collaboration and engagement with government and partners.
•	Cultivated excellent working relationships with stakeholders including the Federal Ministry of Health, State Ministry of Health, and implementing partners, leading to increased ownership and sustainability 
•	Co-oversaw the implementation of TCI 5-year grant worth $50 million in Phase 1 and secured a new award of $71.3 million grant for 5-year TCI Phase 2
•	Spearheaded advocacy efforts resulting in governments committing and releasing over $3 million in funding to support health interventions, ensuring better resource mobilization and increased access to child survival, family planning and adolescent health services.
Technical Work and Capacity Building:
•	Provided strategic guidance and leadership in the implementation of integrated Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health (RMNCH) programs in public and private sectors, leading to a 30% increase in the uptake of reproductive health services in supported geographies.
•	Implemented capacity building programs, training over 200 government staff and 500 CSO members on health and building the capacity of 35 government staff and CSOs on Primary Health Care (PHC) in Liberia counties, for effectiveness.
Stakeholders Management and Partnerships:
•	Successfully engaged private sector partners and private facilities, generating over $2,000,000 for high-impact maternal health interventions, leveraging partnerships to enhance funding and service delivery.
Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting:
•	Provided support to the research monitoring and evaluation team, 
•	Authored/co-authored abstracts, articles for journals and conferences

What I’ve learned about partnerships👇:
