How do you approach an emerging app market, and what does this target group expect from your platform. Questions to which I have developed visual and strategic answers in collaboration with the marketing team. Completely renewing the design for mobile, web, and numerous expressions for print, television, and Google Adwords made it possible for Takeaway.com to extend its growth sustainably.

I started RogerRoger with one goal: to cut through the social sales noise, so sales teams can purely focus on building genuine connections and closing deals (…of course, without hating the inbox). 

Social sales isn’t about a magic formula; it’s about hard work, smart tools, and a passion for connecting with the people typing behind the inbox. I know the frustration of juggling endless follow-ups, lost prospects, and messy workflows.

With RogerRoger, we’re here to simplify sales, making it more human and a lot more enjoyable. Because when the inbox works, sales flow.

As for me, I’ve always loved blending creativity with strategy.

With a background in economics, interior architecture, and cross-media design, I’ve worn a few hats over the years, from UI/UX designer at successful companies like Takeaway to freelance consultant helping businesses enhance their user experience.

Design led me to tech, and curiosity kept me building.

Outside of work, I’m a proud father of three, a husband, and a fly-fishing enthusiast.

And like many creatives, I have dyslexia. We all have our quirks, right? (Shoutout to Grammarly.)

We gingen in op een veelgestelde vraag, namelijk: wat is waarde? Hoe bepaal de waarde van iets voor je klant, voor je eigen organisatie en hoe voer je daar goede gesprekken over.

In de meest recente aflevering van Stop De Urenfabriek praat ik met Willem Godschalk. Willem is finance professional, eigenaar van Strong Finance en werkt veel in de wereld van agencies. 
We praten in deze aflevering over waar je als agency op moet letten als het gaat om de financiën, welke bekende valkuilen je tegen kan komen en hoe de toekomst van agencies er uit ziet.

De week daarvoor sprak ik met Maarten Dalmijn. Hij is spreker en auteur van Driving Value with Sprint Goals; een toonaangevend boek over het leveren van waarde in product development. 
We praten in deze aflevering over de vraag wat waarde eigenlijk is, hoe je daar over praat met je klant én in de je organisatie en welke misvattingen over waarde de ronde doen.

Tot slot had ik een mooi gesprek met Sjoerd Nijland, trainer en coach bij Xebia en Scrum•org, en eigenaar van Road 2 Mastery. 
Vanuit zijn ervaring in de bureauwereld vertelt hij over de waarde van agile voor agencies, waarom klanten én bureaus er vaak een beetje moe van zijn en wat we kunnen leren als het gaat over waardegedreven werken.
