Do you want to boost your progress exceptionally within just a few weeks? Gratitude journals are widely used for personal development to focus the attention on positive things in life.

I had used a similar tool for focusing during my own turbulent early startup times and I knew the potential of it, but I lacked one in Estonian to give it to my mentoring and coaching clients. Therefore, following my ‘Done is better than perfect’ motto, I co-published it together with my partner-in-crime Kristi. 

Publishing the gratitude journal proved to be a thriving success, we have sold over 2,000 copies and counting. Numerous colleagues of mine have implemented it to their mentoring practice and have reported back similar success to mine.

'Hakkame tegutsema' or 'Let's get busy' in English is the most popular weekly privately produced entrepreneurial podcast in the Estonian language. I launched it in 2017, and it was counting over 150 thousand downloads by the end of May 2019. 

I interview people with an entrepreneurial mindset, a societal phenomenon frequently enacted on all scenes of human life. My guests are not A-class celebrities, but all of them have exceptional stories to tell. Some of the topics cover:

Sorry as a Service is a customer retention solution that enables businesses to send apologies (chocolate, cookies, etc. + a handwritten personalised postcard), measure, track and optimise their retention activities, and reduce churn and negative sentiment. It integrates with CRM and help desk systems and make it easy for support agents to dispatch a physical apology through the network of apology partners like chocolateries, restaurants, and flower shops.

Sorry as a Service was born during the Garage 48 Hackathon in September 2014 in Pärnu, and the concept was so good our Nordic international team won the event. We liked the concept so much we actually set up a company and I was able to onboard our first clients within just a few weeks.

Some noteworthy milestones: 
☆ joined business accelerators Startup WiseGuys, and later Techstars London
☆ raised investments in total over € 250,000. Investors incl. e.g. Belron Group
☆ almost went bankrupt twice
☆ some clients: TransferWise, Pipedrive, DPD UK, British Telekom

To be sure, we weren’t instant tech stars, having come close to going bankrupt more than once and experiencing other “fun” moments. Then things started to change and near the middle of 2019, we sold the company and turned a nice profit.

But money wasn’t the only reward. As the person responsible for the sale, I learned a lot, primarily the value of open communication and maintaining a positive mindset. Furthermore, I realized my mission. I want to facilitate the development of people and companies. That is why I mentor start-ups, study coaching, and head my newest company, B2B Growth.

Miks brändisaadikute ja sisukirjutajate elu nüüd LinkedInis palju lihtsam on?

Millest professionaalne identiteet koosneb? 

Sisust, ehk sellest mida kirjutad. Kaasamisest, ehk sellest mis sulle päriselt korda läheb ja kellele (v mis teemale) kaasa elad, kui oled sisu tarbija (mitte sisu looja). Signaalidest, mis viitavad sinu ekspertiisile (süsteem õpib järjepidevast teemade kajastamisest, mis aitavad sinu sihtgrupil leida lahendusi oma muredele) ning autentsusest (persoonibränd, kui nii võib öelda).

Kellele lihtsam, kellele VEEL keerulisem, eks? Tahan südamele panna, et endiselt on vaja aru saada miks siin oled. Pead nägema suurt pilti ja mõju, süsteemi ning taktikat. Sellest johtuvalt, kui keegi koolitajatest veel räägib "in general LinkedIni teemadest (või postituste ideedest), mis eriti hästi peale lähevad orgaanilise liikluse vaates, siis peaks see olema puhas red flag. 

Enne kui võtad isiklikult, või mõtled oma peas, et fakk kõik need algoritmid, teen niikuinii mida tahan, siis see on ka fain, ent see postitus on neile, kes teavad väga täpselt miks nad siin platvormil on ja mida nad teevad. Võtke heaks, armsad!

• millist sisu ja võimalusi Sulle näidata.

Ühtlasi antakse sel moel teada, et lõpeta ära algoritmi lahtimuukimine, enam ei ole mingeid shortcutte. Lisaks saavad päitsed pähe botid ning liistule tõmmatakse copy-paste sisu tootjad ja "äge postitus!" stiilis kommenteerijad.

Seda nimetatakse ka "uue ajastu LinkedIn ajuks", mis loeb ja püüab mõista, mida kirjutad, valib kellele sinu postitusi näidatakse ning aitab ennustada, mis sinu jaoks on asjakohane.

Kui varem pasundasin, et kasuta kolme täppi oma feedi timmimiseks, siis nüüd pean hakkama meelde tuletama, et:
• vaata üle oma profiil, et AI saaks aru kes, või mis oled. Hea on, kui see on täidetud maksimaalses mahus.
• kui kirjutad sisu, siis vali 2-3 peamist teemat ning ole nende teemade kajastamisel järjepidev. Selgus!
• optimeeri profiili vastavalt tagasisidele ja analüütikale (mo enda lemmik on profile appearances).
• väike ja relevantne võrgustik on olulisem, kui suur ja mitte-relevantne.
• postituste eluiga on pikem, 5-7 päeva, seega tee vähem postitusi, aga need olgu asjakohased maasikad (kui eluterve nali on Sinu teema, siis ära neist küll loobu).
• kommenteeri ja nii, et see kommentaar oleks sisukas - sinu publiku jaoks väärtust loov. 

Iseenesest ei midagi uut. Kuid väga paljud inimesed, kes siin platvormil on - nad ajavad endiselt taga leviku suurt numbrit, selmet et keskenduda oluliste inimeste silme ette jõudmisele.

Kui vaatan algoritmi raportit (klastrite loogika) ja Brew360 (kõike profiilil toimuvat arvesse võttev loogika), siis ei saa öelda, et asjad oleks selged. Employer Branding Specialist at Bombay Group

"Hi!
I just noticed I've been removed from the Employer Branding Community LinkedIn group. No idea why, but please let me back in!" 😭

I joined the Employer Branding Community in Estonia shortly after it was created at the beginning of 2025, because I was actively looking for something like this. Then I broke the rules, and got removed in May 2025 🦹🏻‍♀️ Fair enough.

But this is exactly the kind of community I'd fight to be part of. Not just because employer branding is what I do, but because this group is genuinely rare (luckily, I was added back).

And as I mentioned at yesterday's meetup.. For me, this community feels like a safe space 🏡 Not only for professional growth, but on a very human level as well. Learning, sharing, challenging each other, and showing up when it actually matters. 

When I was going through a tough time, I could feel how these brilliant women were quietly rooting for me, offering support without questions, explanations, or any need for attention. Just tell me, where else do you get that in a professional setting?

I love this community ♥️
I promise to contribute more this year.
I truly hope it stays as unique as it used to be.
