Gratitude journals are widely used for personal development to focus the attention on positive things in life.

I had used a similar tool for focusing during my own turbulent early startup times and I knew the potential of it, but I lacked one in Estonian to give it to my mentoring and coaching clients. Therefore, following my ‘Done is better than perfect’ motto, I co-published it together with my partner-in-crime Kristi. 

Publishing the gratitude journal proved to be a thriving success, we have sold over 2,000 copies and counting. Numerous colleagues of mine have implemented it to their mentoring practice and have reported back similar success to mine.

'Hakkame tegutsema' or 'Let's get busy' in English is the most popular weekly privately produced entrepreneurial podcast in the Estonian language. I launched it in 2017, and it was counting over 150 thousand downloads by the end of May 2019. 

I interview people with an entrepreneurial mindset, a societal phenomenon frequently enacted on all scenes of human life. My guests are not A-class celebrities, but all of them have exceptional stories to tell. Some of the topics cover:

Sorry as a Service is a customer retention solution that enables businesses to send apologies (chocolate, cookies, etc. + a handwritten personalised postcard), measure, track and optimise their retention activities, and reduce churn and negative sentiment. It integrates with CRM and help desk systems and make it easy for support agents to dispatch a physical apology through the network of apology partners like chocolateries, restaurants, and flower shops.

Sorry as a Service was born during the Garage 48 Hackathon in September 2014 in Pärnu, and the concept was so good our Nordic international team won the event. We liked the concept so much we actually set up a company and I was able to onboard our first clients within just a few weeks.

Some noteworthy milestones: 
☆ joined business accelerators Startup WiseGuys, and later Techstars London
☆ raised investments in total over € 250,000. Investors incl. e.g. Belron Group
☆ almost went bankrupt twice
☆ some clients: TransferWise, Pipedrive, DPD UK, British Telekom

So as part of a start-up hackathon in 2014 here in Estonia, my team, Sorry as a Service, attended two different start-up accelerators. One was Techstars London, which accepts 1% of startups that apply.
To be sure, we weren’t instant tech stars, having come close to going bankrupt more than once and experiencing other “fun” moments. Then things started to change and near the middle of 2019, we sold the company and turned a nice profit.

But money wasn’t the only reward. As the person responsible for the sale, I learned a lot, primarily the value of open communication and maintaining a positive mindset. Furthermore, I realized my mission. I want to facilitate the development of people and companies. That is why I mentor start-ups, study coaching, and head my newest company, B2B Growth.

Me oleme inimesed, me sündisime superorganiga - ajuga. Treeni aju, anna talle magustoitu, leia viise kruttida ajule funki juurde ning siis viise, kuidas ajule puhkust anda. Mõnikord tuleb kasuks ka skill, kuidas aju üle lasta, sest noooh, ta ikka viskab villast ka. 

Kombineeri AI-d ajuga. Vürtsita seda enda kordumatu unikaalsuse ja empaatiaga ning naudi tulemust. Targa töö parim osa ju!?

Jah, räige tempo on sellega peal, aga keegi ei jää maha, kui õppida-katsetada-uudishimuga vaadelda. Inimeseks olemises on lihtsalt nii palju enamat, kui pidev vastasseis. Ükskõik, mis teemal. Olen seal ise olnud ning mõne teemaga siiamaani jauran, aga näete, minagi püüan areneda. 

Energia juhtimise seisukohast on vastandumine täiesti ebavajalik tegevus, ent ajule siiski huvitav eksperiment. See tuletas nüüd meele üht vanat postitust (kaks aastat tagasi kirjutatud), mis on paslik siinkohal ellu äratada. Ainus kindel asi on see, et maailm on pidevas muutuses ning loodan siiralt, et elan piisavalt kaua, et seda hullust oma silmaga näha ning kogeda.

Kõige suurem algo muudatus, mida mo silmad viimase viie aasta jooksul näinud on! Selle tulemusel pean vist isegi paar varem välja öeldud statementi lausa ringi mõtestama, aga kõigest järgemööda...

Uue algoritm insight data baasil ei ehita LinkedIn enam sinu isiklikku feedi ümber sinu kontaktivõrgustiku. Nüüd ehitab ta seda üles vastavalt sellele, mis on siin sinu eesmärk. Miks oled LinkedInis?

Väidetavalt selgitab see muudatus ülemaailmset muret, et kõikidel on reach languses. Kasutajad peavad kohanema ning aru saama, et platvorm ei premeeri enam populaarsust, vaid hoopis selgust, järjepidevust ja konteksti.

Mida SEE ometi tähendab?

Seda, et ka väikese followeride hulgaga inimestel on võimalik särada, aga ka seda, et kui LinkedIn ei saa aru, millises kategoorias tegutsed, või millised teemad sulle korda lähevad, siis ta ei saa sind ka soovitada (loe premeerida!).

Varem, kui vajutasid "publish post", siis testiti seda väikeses testgrupis, mis koosnes ca 15% sinu followeridest ja kui kõik klappis, siis algoritm andis levikule hoogu juurde. Nüüd testiakse seda sisu klastrites ja kui sisu on klastri jaoks päriselt relevantne, siis on lootust saada taas numbrid suunaga üles poole.

Isiklikult olen nii kurb, et selline muudatus tehti ja ootan seda ahhaa hetke, kui sellest lõpuni aru saan. Teate küll, kohanemine. Mul läheb sellega aega.

Aga mis klastrid need siis on?

Neid on viis ja panen need siia kirja. Sellest, kuidas hakata üles ehitama uut sisuplaani või maatriksit, mis äri õitsele lööb või strateegilisele sisukirjutajale on pinget pakkuv, sellest kirjutan teine kord. Need ei ole olulisuse järjekorras.

1. Isiklike lugude jutustamine - ja siis pigem mitte haavatavus ja ülestunnistused, vaid muutus ning transformatsioon.
2. Hariduslik "Kuidas?" - see on kiireim tee, kui tahad saada mõne valdkonna eksperdiks.
3. Saavutused ja tegevused - fookusega koostööle ja õppetundidele, rõhk tänulikkusel, mitte kiidulaulul. 
4. Konverteeruma suunatud sisu - parim müügisisu siin ei ole otsene müük vaid probleemide lahendamine.
5. Valdkonna ülevaatlikud teemad - mitte see, kuidas samm sammult midagi teha (nt edukaid postitusi), vaid teema lahti seletamine (no nagu ma hetkel siin üritan teile selgitada).

Me kirjutame oma klientidele aastaid company page sisu vastavalt müügifunneli loogikale ja nüüd kolib see kõik vaikselt isiklikkesse feedidesse. Minu väide on, et enamik inimesi ei suuda nii struktuurselt mõelda ning neil ei ole huvi ka hakata kokku panema sisuplaanile lisaks konkreetset sisu maatriksit, aga võibolla ma alahindan seda.
