I serve US clients from Dubai. That means late nights are part of the game.

I optimized my life around that. Not around what some guru said I "should" do.

Stop comparing your day 1 to someone else's day 1000.
Stop forcing yourself into magic routines.
Stop trying to be someone else on social media.

That's all bullsh*t.

Your timezone is different.
Your clients are different.
Your energy peaks are different.

Build around that.

Not around what you see on Instagram.

Most of those trending gurus are broke anyways.

I do something crazy with my 85+ person company.

I still do every single sales call myself.
No Setters. No SDRs. No sales team. Just me.

Here's why it works:

Most agency founders follow the 2-step close:

Book the call → Qualify on the call → Close
I flip it. I qualify BEFORE the call even happens.

Lead comes in from Twitter or LinkedIn.

First question: Do they match our ICP?
Second: Do they meet our requirements?

If no to either, I don’t jump on a call.
If I know that I can't help them, I won't waste anyone's time.

The call itself is based on 3 steps:

1. Get Commitment > I get Google access on the call.
2. Pain Identification > I walk through every issue I spot.
3. Selling the solution > I show exactly how I'd fix it.

Then I discuss collaboration.
What they give. What they need.
No pitch deck. No standardized offer.

Every solution is custom-built for that client.

Qualify hard. Deliver value immediately. Make it custom.

The ROI speaks for itself.


P.S. Are you as a founder still doing sales calls?

I spent the weekend on a Superyacht at the F1.

Let’s be real.

48 hours ago? I couldn't name a single driver. I had zero interest in the sport. I’ve never watched a full race in my life.

But when the inner circle calls with a last-minute invite? You say yes.

Call it peer pressure. I call it optimizing for opportunity.

We stayed on arguably one of the best yachts with the best views on the track. 

And something happened that I didn't expect.

The sport caught me.

It wasn't just the cars. It was the engineering. The precision. The absolute obsession with speed and execution.

It’s impossible to be in an environment like that—surrounded by that level of excellence and high-net-worth individuals—and not feel the shift.

Side note: If I look 12 years old in the photos, blame the hardware. My clipper guard fell off mid-trim this morning. Meant to tidy the beard. Accidentally went full baby face. We move. 😂

Two takeaways from the weekend:

1. Environment is everything. Being in that proximity to greatness forces you to vibrate at a higher frequency.
2. Stay open. If I had said "Nah, I don't like racing," I would have missed a core memory.

Super fun. Super grateful. Blessed to be doing this.

Question for the F1 veterans: Which Grand Prix has the best atmosphere for the next trip?

A Munich founder's short comment hit me.

Last month, I posted about my Dubai apartment.

How the surroundings brought in deals.
How the status helped close clients.
How the proof mattered.

Then he commented:

"Your deal flow is the result of your warm nature."

Hit me like a truck. He was right.
Business is a people game.

You can have the best offer, the slickest pitch, the most impressive setup.

But if people don't feel connected to you?

None of it matters.

I've closed more deals over coffee chats than perfectly designed presentations. Win sympathy and the deal is half closed. 

Most people chase only the external proof. They forget the human part.

The status gets you in the room.

The warmth gets you the deal.

Money doesn’t buy happiness, trust me.

But it buys better decisions.

Back when I earned 9€ an hour when I was a broke student, every choice I made was a trade-off.

Dinner out or new shoes.
A short trip or saving for rent.
Every euro was a this-or-that choice.

Fast forward a few years...

I run my own 8-figure companies, live between continents, and build systems that work when I sleep.

And I finally understand what money really is.

It's a multiplier of choice.

Let me explain.

1. Leverage money to buy labor

When I started delegating, my time expanded. I take opportunities, and focus on high-impact decisions.

2. Money improves decision quality

When you have capital, you stop choosing the cheapest option and start choosing the right one.

Better hires, better mentors, better systems.

Security is an illusion

I once thought a stable job meant safety. Now I know that true security is owning your time, skills, and freedom, not relying on someone else’s paycheck.

Money stopped motivating me at 22.

At 18, I wanted one thing: cash.

All I wanted was to get out of my small German hometown. Be free. Stack money.

I got it all by 22.

Four years later, I’m sitting on the rooftop of a nice hotel in Shanghai. My closest friends around me.

When someone hits a milestone, we celebrate.
When someone fails, we tear it apart together.
We do what we always like doing: comparing.

But the questions changed:

Who will marry first?
Who will get kids first?
Who will sell their company first?

Nobody tells you this about hitting money goals:

Money is a terrible North Star.

It gets you moving. But it doesn't keep you going. You need something bigger. Something that survives the wins and the losses. 

For me, that became the people around me.

The friends building next to me. The competition that pushes me. The shared vision of what we're creating together.

Business became a game I play with my friends.

We're all building. Competing. Pushing each other forward.

That's more motivating than money ever was.


P.S. What's your main motivation?

Most people know me as the Google Ads guy.

But I spend my weekends behind the decks.

DJing is my secret hobby. Most people don't know.

Next year? I'm getting my skydiving license.
Because why not jump out of a plane?

Real confidence comes from being the kind of person who says yes to things that scare them.

Who picks up skills just because they're curious.
Who doesn't wait for permission to try something new.

Every new skill makes me feel more alive. Every person I meet teaches me something I didn't know I needed to learn.

The DJ gigs are just for fun. They don't pay any of my bills.
But they remind me I'm more than my business.

I'm building a life where my self-esteem comes from the weird hobbies I pick up, the skills I master, and the moments that make me feel fully alive.

Not from the zeros in my bank account.

I think every entrepreneur should have a hobby outside of making money.


P.S. What are some of your uncommon hobbies?

I thought money would make me happy.

And it did.

But it also did something more valuable.

It removed the stress of choosing between basics. It gave me the freedom to focus on what actually matters.

It let me build without constantly worrying about survival.

Here's what money actually buys:

– Better sleep because rent isn't a concern.
– Better health because you can afford good food.
– Better relationships because you're not stressed.
– Better decisions because you're not desperate.

Money is a tool for comfort and freedom.

Happiness comes from purpose, relationships, and growth. Those things are free.

But they're a lot easier to build when you're not broke.

Today I run 8-figure companies from Dubai. I'm not just happier than I was at 16.

But I'm more comfortable. More free. More focused on what actually drives fulfillment.

Stop chasing money for happiness.

Chase it for the comfort to pursue what makes you happy.

I don't get people who brag about being perfectionists.

You're literally telling me you can't execute.

Perfectionism isn't a high standard. It's the lowest one on earth.

Because perfect doesn't exist.

So you're chasing something that will never happen. Which means you'll never finish anything.

I used to be the same.

But the reality? Perfectionism isn't quality. It's fear. Fear of judgment. Fear of failure. Fear of being seen. So you hide behind "making it better."

Did you know that Drake published 133 songs?
Of which only 38 songs were hits (28%).
73% of his output is NOT popular.

Perfectionism creates nothing. So please stop treating it like a badge of honor. Publish the thing. Learn from your mistakes. Make the next one even better.

That's how you actually grow fast.

Not by waiting for perfection.
