Prospecting is the most difficult part of selling but it shouldn't be! In fact,  it should be as simple as ABC!  Experience has taught me that if a company does three basic things -and does them well - they will always have enough prospects. The first step is to'A'  analyze the market to find out who your best prospects are.  

The second step is to "B' build (and manage ) a list of your prospects and this is typically done in a CRM system. I have experience on eight different CRM systems including Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics. 

The third step is to 'C' constantly contact your  prospects. Experts say you need to touch a prospect eight times just to connect with them.  One good way to accomplish this is through the use of marketing automation.  I have earned five certifications on Hubspot.

My responsibility at OneNetUSA was to develop new business using a multi-channel approach.  This started by analyzing the market to find out who were the companies best prospects.  After the analysis we determined that our best prospects were companies between 50-500 employees with a special focus on multi-location companies in the Twin Cities market. 

The second step was to build and manage our CRM system. I identified our top five hundred target accounts and then broke them into segments such as legal, retail, transportation, etc. During my tenure we converted from ACT! and Swiftpage. to ConnectWise. 

The last step is to contact prospects consistently. This was done by using telemarketing, e-mail marketing and LinkedIN. Once connected,  my job was to nurture the prospect leading them through the buyers journey.  My claim to fame was I  found a $576,000 deal for the company.
