Taking over the creative efforts at an agency that was deeply rooted in complex integrations and known for its technological savviness was... a lot.

But I was curious, I loved a challenge, and I saw a gap between the ask and the value we could deliver. It asked for slight restructuring, rebranding, and navigation of 9 - but we made it happen.

🙌 It resulted in a top-performing revenue channel.
🙌 It resulted in the launching of Design Sprints.
🙌 It resulted in a profit increase.

More importantly, it resulted in us re-positioning ourselves as a full-service agency, a place where creativity and commerce meet, with competence and contribution at its core.

Over this period, we launched mid-COVID-19 materials, which led to 3 deals worth over $600k signed in a week, collaborating and partnering with the likes of PayPal, Adobe, and Salesforce, and personally heading tailor-made workshops with target key accounts.

🎯 As I fondly like to remember, that was the moment when we started pushing our brands in new directions, fueling their growth through visual, visionary storytelling.

I don't know if I'm doing the right thing.

Honestly. I don't.

I'm at a point in life where I have no option left. 

Either I go all in. 

Or I quit and move on.

And going all in sounds so cool when you hear it. 

When someone else is doing it. 

When you're watching from the outside.

But when it's you? 

It's a completely different feeling.

It's unknown territory. 

You're making decisions you've never made before. 

Big ones. 

And every single day you wake up second guessing yourself. 

Did I do the right thing yesterday? 

Is this even going to work? 

Am I just fooling myself?

No one around you has done this before. 

So you can't even ask anyone. 

You just sit with it.

And that's the scariest part. 

Not the risk. 

The silence around the risk.

But then somewhere in all of that noise in your head, one question shows up.

What can get worse than where I already am?

And I have no answer to that.

So I keep going.

Not because I'm confident. 

Not because I have it all figured out. 

Just because that one question won't let me stop.

I changed my strategy 3 times. 

The ceiling never moved.

Hired better people. 

Tried a new approach every quarter.

The ceiling stayed.

Because the ceiling was never the market.

It was me.

The version of me that was running the business had a limit. 

And the business couldn't grow past it.

No matter what I changed on the outside.

Once I saw that, everything shifted.

Not the strategy. 

Not the team. 

ME.

Your business is a direct reflection of who you are right now. 

The beliefs you carry, 
the fears you haven't faced, 
the identity you're still operating from.

Change those — and the ceiling lifts on its own.

There was a time I was making 20 lakhs a month. 

That's roughly $24,000.

And then one day I wasn't.

It didn't happen slowly. 

It felt like the floor just disappeared. 

And before I could even process it, I was at 20,000 rupees a month. 

Less than $250.

Then came the 50 lakh debt. 

Almost $60,000. 

Then a 2 lakh credit card scam on top of it.

All of it. At once.

I remember checking my account and just staring at the screen. 

Not because I didn't know the number. 

I knew the number. 

I just couldn't believe it was mine.

The worst part wasn't the money. 

It was what it did to my head.

Every decision felt dangerous. 

Every rupee felt like the last one. 

I stopped trusting myself completely. 

Because how do you trust the person who let this happen?

But here's what that season taught me that nothing else could have.

Money fear isn't really about money. 

It's about identity. 

It's about self worth. 

It's about who you think you are when the numbers aren't validating you anymore.

I work with founders today who are going through versions of this. 

And I can sit with them in it. 

Fully. 

Because I've been on that floor.

I didn't get off it by pretending it wasn't real. 

I got off it by understanding what put me there in the first place.

It came from understanding the belief running underneath every negotiation….

I was losing before it even started.

They think: if I just find the right strategy, the revenue will follow.
 
Sometimes that's true.
 
But more often, I see something different.

The strategy is fine.
What's broken is the engine running underneath it.
 
Here's one way to check which problem you have:
 
Look at your last three big decisions.
 
Were they made from clarity?
Or from fear — fear of getting it wrong, fear of what people would think, fear of moving too fast?
 
Fear-based decisions have a price tag.
 
They slow things down.
They keep you underpricing.
They keep you avoiding the conversations that need to happen.
 
And over a year — that price compounds.
