Taking over the creative efforts at an agency that was deeply rooted in complex integrations and known for its technological savviness was... a lot.

But I was curious, I loved a challenge, and I saw a gap between the ask and the value we could deliver. It asked for slight restructuring, rebranding, and navigation of 9 - but we made it happen.

🙌 It resulted in a top-performing revenue channel.
🙌 It resulted in the launching of Design Sprints.
🙌 It resulted in a profit increase.

More importantly, it resulted in us re-positioning ourselves as a full-service agency, a place where creativity and commerce meet, with competence and contribution at its core.

Over this period, we launched mid-COVID-19 materials, which led to 3 deals worth over $600k signed in a week, collaborating and partnering with the likes of PayPal, Adobe, and Salesforce, and personally heading tailor-made workshops with target key accounts.

🎯 As I fondly like to remember, that was the moment when we started pushing our brands in new directions, fueling their growth through visual, visionary storytelling.

Emotions do belong in business.

But not the way most founders think.

I feel many founders misunderstand the idea of “not having emotions in business.”

Here’s a simple example:
A teammate hasn’t been performing for months.

You’ve trained them, supported them, invested your time and nothing has changed.

But you still don’t let them go.

Not because it’s good for the business… but because you like them as a person.

Or because “they’ve been here from the start.”

Or because guilt makes you over-extend yourself.

This isn’t compassion.

This is emotional attachment creating opportunity loss.

The real meaning of “don’t use emotions in business” is this:
✔ Don’t take decisions from guilt, fear or personal attachment.
✔ Take decisions from clarity, fairness and long-term vision.
✔ Lead with heart, but decide with alignment.

When emotions run your decisions, the business pays the price.

When alignment runs your decisions, everyone grows including the people around you.

If your pipeline depends on one client…

Your peace depends on them too.

And that’s exactly where most entrepreneurs get stuck.

Last week, someone asked me,
“I’m doing everything to close this one client… why isn’t it working? What’s stopping me internally?”

And I told her what most people don’t expect from a mindset coach:
“Sometimes it’s not an internal block.
Sometimes it’s just common sense.”

Because the problem wasn’t mindset.

It was that she had one prospect … and she was emotionally glued to them.

That desperation creates pressure, anxiety, and an energy that pushes the sale away.

THE WATERFALL EFFECT (the real growth formula)
If you simply give information about what you do to 5 new people every day:
➤35 new people/week know you exist
➤Out of them, 10 will genuinely want to know more
➤And even if 2 convert, that’s a clean 20% conversion rate

Now imagine…
2 new clients/week × 24 weeks = 48 clients in 6 months

When your pipeline becomes a waterfall, you don’t chase opportunities , you attract them.

You’re too busy growing to be desperate about a single person’s reply.

“Should I follow up?”

“Am I taking something from them?”

It’s wild how much mental drama can happen… just to say one simple sentence.

But here’s what helped me shift:

Think of sales like big companies do.

Imagine watching IPL.

After every inning the same ad plays again. And again. And again.

Do you ever think:
“Ugh, look how desperate they are to sell”?

No.

Because big brands don’t see selling as taking.

They see it as reminding. Repeating. Reassuring.

But as entrepreneurs, we hold back because we think:
“I am asking for something.”

Here’s the truth that melts sales anxiety:
Sales feels heavy when you think you’re taking.
Sales feels light when you realise you’re giving.

You’re not forcing.
You’re not begging.
You’re not extracting.

✅ You’re offering a solution
✅ You’re reducing someone’s pain
✅ You’re helping them become who they want to be

A simple reframe to practice this week:

Before a sales call →
“How am I helping this person feel better, grow faster, or struggle less?”

Before a follow-up →
“I’m reminding them of a possibility they said they wanted.”

Before sharing your offer →
“I’m giving clarity, direction, and transformation.”

When you shift the intention, your body softens, your voice steadies, your energy expands.

If you’ve felt sales anxiety.

You’re not alone.

But you don’t have to stay there.

Objections aren’t strategy. 

They’re emotions.

Most founders think objections come because the prospect didn’t see enough value.

But Jeremy Miner says something deeper.
Objections are just emotional protection.

A person says no because something inside them still feels unsafe.

And I’ve seen this again and again in my work:

People don’t hesitate because of the offer.

They hesitate because of the emotion behind the decision.

So how do you close in a way that feels natural, aligned, and pressure-free?

Here’s the solution:
1️⃣ Don’t fight the objection — explore it.
Instead of “overcoming” objections… get curious.
Ask: “Help me understand what part doesn’t feel right yet?”
People open up when they feel heard, not pushed.

2️⃣ Go to the emotion under the objection.
Because “I need time” is never about time.
“I’m not sure” is never about logic.
Ask gently: “What are you afraid might happen if you move forward?”
That’s where the real decision lives.

3️⃣ Build emotional safety, not pressure.
When someone feels safe - safe to choose, safe to trust, safe to grow —the deal naturally closes.
Not from persuasion…but from alignment.

4️⃣ Show them their own clarity.
Help them see:
• what staying stuck is costing them
• what alignment makes possible
• and how the decision changes their reality

Now here’s the bigger business truth:
We think business growth is about strategy.

We think sales, marketing, scaling… are all strategy.

But every “strategy problem” usually starts as an inner state problem.

If objections in sales are emotional…then the obstacles in your business are emotional too.

Clarity, confidence, worthiness, energy, alignment, that’s the real game.

If you delay paying people even when you have the money…

It’s not a cashflow issue.

It’s a money safety issue you’ve never noticed.

This morning in my Unstuck class, a client shared something many entrepreneurs secretly relate to:
“Aashi, I have the money to pay my vendor… but I keep delaying it. I feel safer when the money stays in my account.”

Most people think this is bad habit or poor planning.

It’s not.

It’s your money safety pattern — the unconscious belief that “If money leaves, I’ll be unsafe.”

And here’s the thing:
When you hold money out of fear, you block the flow of money meant to come in.

You also absorb the frustrated energy of the person waiting for the payment.

Their irritation becomes your stagnation.

Money has to move to multiply.

THE REAL ISSUE:
The problem isn’t that you don’t want to pay.

The problem is:
You feel safer holding old money than creating new money.

Releasing money feels risky.
 
Creating more money feels uncomfortable.

So you stay in the loop of holding… delaying… overthinking… and unintentionally blocking abundance.

You choose familiar safety over energetic expansion.

But money only grows when you grow beyond your fear.

HOW TO BREAK THIS PATTERN:
1. Acknowledge the truth.
Say: “I’m delaying because I’m trying to feel safe, not because I don’t have money.”

2. Make the payment from intention, not fear.
As you release it, say internally:
“This money is clearing space for more to come in.”

3. Shift your focus from protecting money to generating money.
Immediately do one action that moves money toward you:
– Send a proposal
– Follow up on a warm lead
– Have a sales conversation
– Share a post that attracts clients
– Make an ask
– Launch something small

This breaks the inner belief that “money leaves but doesn’t come back.”

Because it does come back when you move.

THE REFRAME
Don’t depend on money to feel safe.
Build the internal safety that allows money to move freely through you.
Flow out → Flow in.
Blocked out → Blocked in.

P.S - What’s one payment you’ve been delaying that you can clear today?

You’re measuring risk wrong.

And it’s holding you back.

Most people evaluate every opportunity with the same question:
“What will I lose if I say yes?”

That’s a backwards way to think.

The people who scale in business or life don’t calculate decisions based on the immediate loss of money, time, or energy.

They ask a better question:
“What is the upside if this works?”

When you only look at what leaves your pocket, you keep repeating the same level.

When you look at how far something can take you, you change levels entirely.

This is the difference between stagnation and exponential growth.

Now take a moment and look back:
When coaching opportunities came, business ideas came, or networking invitations showed up…

what was your FIRST instinct?
“I might lose”?
 or
“I might gain more than I can imagine”?

Because the answer to that one question tells you exactly why you’re where you are and how far you can actually go.

P.S - Your next level won’t come from avoiding loss.

It will come from pursuing possibility.

This year taught me something I wasn’t prepared for...

What it truly feels like to show up every single day…

And see no results for months.

I went all-in on visibility this year.

LinkedIn. Instagram. Talks. Networking.

If there was a way to get my message out, I tried it.

And yet — the truth?

For 11 months, nothing shifted.

No big jump in visibility.

No “breakthrough moment.”

No instant recognition that we’re all secretly waiting for.

What did show up instead were the emotions no one warns you about:
The days when I doubted my own voice.
The days when I felt, “Maybe this isn’t working.”
The days when quitting felt easier than continuing.

And the rare, beautiful days when I felt, “Yes… this is my purpose.”

Three years I’ve poured my heart, blood and sweat into building something meaningful.

2025 was supposed to be the year it finally came alive.

But it didn’t —
Not in January.
Not in June.
Not in September.

And here’s the part I want everyone who’s reading this to truly feel:
Sometimes the universe takes the whole year to prepare you, and gives you everything in the last month.

Because now, in November–December, the doors that were shut all year… suddenly opened.

Two podcast invitations.

A talk show appearance.

Opportunities that arrived after a year of silence.

And in that moment, this line finally made sense to me:
“When you’re certain of the outcome, you can wait…and you can wait without anxiety.”

Not because waiting is easy.

But because deep down, you know you’re being prepared, not punished.

To anyone reading this who feels unseen, unheard or overlooked.

Please don’t give up.

Sometimes your breakthrough doesn’t arrive when you want it.

It arrives when you’re finally ready to hold it.

And when it comes… it comes all at once.

P.S - whats the one thing you secretly desire to happen before the year ends ...

Taking a loan isn’t the problem.

Taking a loan to hide the real problem is.

A founder asked me:
Aashi, I took a working capital loan to keep things running… but the business still isn’t profitable. Did I make a mistake?

Here’s the truth.

Why you should NOT take a loan when the business isn’t profitable
1️⃣ It hides the real issue
Money enters.
The leak continues.

2️⃣ It creates fake confidence
You feel “safe”… but only because the money isn't yours.

3️⃣ It pushes you into survival mode
EMIs + no profit = reactive decisions.
Reaction kills growth.

4️⃣ It turns business pressure into personal pressure
Now it’s your energy carrying the business… not the business carrying you.

So what should a founder do instead of taking a loan?
✔️ Audit the business model
Where is money leaking?
Where is money not valued?

✔️ Fix pricing and positioning
Most founders are undercharging or discounting unconsciously.

✔️ Cut emotional expenses, not strategic ones
Remove the noise.
Keep what drives revenue.

✔️ Re-align team roles
Inefficiency is more expensive than interest.

✔️ Strengthen sales rhythm
Consistency brings clarity.
Clarity brings cash.

✔️ Work on the internal energy
A business stuck in survival often reflects a founder stuck in fear.

Sometimes the business doesn’t need more cash.

It needs a calmer founder and a cleaner structure.

Three years ago,  my entire life fell apart.

And that was the best thing that ever happened to me.

From the outside, my life looked perfect.

I had built a global distribution network.
I was travelling, flying Emirates Business Class, buying an Audi, expanding across countries…

Everything looked like growth.
But on the inside, I was constantly doubting myself.

I was scared of losing everything.
I felt like I was running on survival mode.

And when you build from fear — it eventually shows.

𝟮𝟬𝟭𝟯–𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟮: 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗿𝗮𝘀𝗵 𝗜 𝗻𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝗮𝘄 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴

My team walked out.
My turnover dropped from ₹20L/month to ₹20K/month.
And I fell into ₹50 lakhs of debt.
I worked harder than ever.
I tried every “business thing” people recommend.
Nothing worked.

It wasn’t a strategy problem.
It was ME.
My identity. My beliefs. My fear stories.

My mentor told me something I will never forget:
“Your business isn’t failing because it’s bad.
It’s failing because you don’t see yourself as someone who can hold success.”
That line hit me in the gut.
Because it was true.

𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟮: 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗜 𝗿𝗲𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝘁 𝗠𝗬𝗦𝗘𝗟𝗙

I didn’t look for a new strategy.
I worked on the person running the strategy.
I rewired my identity.

Healed the parts of me that were scared of failure and scared of success.
Did deep inner child work to fix the beliefs I had carried since childhood - the fear, the guilt, the pressure to be the strong one, the feeling that money doesn’t stay.

I regulated my nervous system.
I rebuilt my relationship with money.
I stopped making decisions from fear.

And once my inner world shifted… my outer world followed.

𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟯–𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱: 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗶𝘀𝗲

I cleared all my debt.
Bought a new home.
Built a 6-figure business (USD).
Expanded to clients across India, UAE, Sri Lanka, Uk, Canada & Bangkok.

Started taking holidays without guilt.
Started making bold decisions with ease.

Opportunities, people, and money began flowing to me.
Life felt lighter.
Business felt easier.
I felt different.

Because I finally became the woman who could hold the success she once kept collapsing under.

He nodded slowly.

Then he leaned forward and said something that stayed with me.

I smiled.

He didn’t blink.

We mapped out a few ideas… and right when the conversation was ending, he said one line that revealed everything:

“I hope I reach 100 crores.”

That one word HOPE changed the entire energy of the conversation.

Think about this…

Someone who knows the game, takes chances, and backs himself.

But when he has to declare his next level out loud… his voice carries a doubt he didn’t even realise was there.

And that’s where most founders get stuck.

Not in strategy.

Not in execution.

Not in the market.

But in the silent internal dialogue that shows up between their words.

The “What if I can’t?”
The “I hope it happens.”
The “Let’s see…”
The “Maybe next year.”

It’s these micro-moments of doubt that delay big goals — 100 crores, 200 crores, sometimes even 20 crores.

And this is exactly the work I do with founders.

It starts with the story you tell yourself.

This weekend, I met someone…

Who reminded me of every ambitious entrepreneur I work with.

Except he’s just 13.

A mother approached me about her son.

A talented young cricketer already performing at the Maharashtra state level,
dreaming of playing for India one day.

His skills?
Sharp. Disciplined. Well-practised.

His challenge?
The moment he entered a real match, pressure took over.
He made mistakes he never made in practice.
He got emotional when someone teased him.
And the weight of expectation crushed his natural flow.

When I asked his mother a few questions, she paused… and then said something honest:
“We might be pressurising him without realising.
We’re both doctors.
We want the best for him.
Maybe he feels he must give back… because we’ve done so much.”

That hit me.

Because this is exactly what I see with founders too.

You may be 30, 40, 50… but inside, the same pattern runs:
“I must prove myself.”
“I can’t let my parents down.”
“I have to succeed because they sacrificed for me.”

And in that silent pressure, you:
• Overwork even when exhausted
• Take stress personally
• Burn out trying to “earn” validation
• Feel guilty if you’re not constantly performing
• Push yourself harder even when your body says stop

Just like the young cricketer, you have the skill.

You have the talent.

You have done the work.

But pressure — especially the pressure of expectations , can mute your potential in the very moments you need it the most.

I took up the project with the boy, happily.

Because helping someone unlock their potential at 13…is far better than them struggling with the same pattern at 33, 43, or 53.

And here’s the truth:

It’s not lack of capability.

It’s the weight of expectation that needs to be released.

Another receives the same delayed payment and responds with:
“Cash flow tight → communicate clearly → renegotiate timelines → stay calm.”

Same event. Two responses. Two realities.

And this is where most entrepreneurs get trapped without realising it…

We keep upgrading our strategies, tools, even our teams but our inner operating system stays exactly the same.
👉 Same thinking patterns
👉 Same emotional reactions
👉 Same decisions
👉 Same outcome on repeat

It’s like trying to run a billion-rupee company on a software written for a start-up version of you.

Here’s a very real example from a founder I worked with recently:
A key employee quit unexpectedly.

Earlier, this would send him into panic:
“Why is this happening to me? What if the client leaves? What if things collapse?”

But after we worked on his response conditioning, he reacted differently:
“Okay. Who do we promote? Who do we train? Where is the opportunity in this?”

He responded from clarity instead of fear.

The outcome?

The client didn’t leave.

In fact, the client praised him for how smoothly he handled the transition and offered to increase the contract.

The event didn’t change.

The response did.

So the outcome transformed.

Your business grows at the speed at which you evolve your internal responses.

And if your outcomes have plateaued, the problem is rarely in the strategy.

It’s in the response pattern that’s running the show behind the scenes.

You’re not struggling because success is hard.

You’re struggling because ease threatens your identity.

I met a founder this week — smart, successful, grounded, meditates daily, believes in self-growth.

But after every win he described, he ended with the same line:
“But you only deserve it if you work really hard for it.”

Most people would ignore that.

I didn’t.

So I asked him a strange question:
“Do you know people in your industry who put in less effort than you and still close deals faster?”

He laughed almost annoyed.
“Of course. Plenty.”

And here’s the twist:
The issue isn’t effort.
The issue is identity.

Some people believe:
“Ease is allowed.”

He believes:
“Ease is dangerous.”

Because if success came easily…
– Who would he be?
– What would justify his worth?
– What story would hold him together?

For some people, struggle is not a burden — it’s a home.

That’s why they unconsciously recreate it.

Not because they love difficulty… but because ease feels unfamiliar.

✅ HOW TO BREAK THIS (WITHOUT CHEESY AFFIRMATIONS 😉 )
1. Catch the micro-sentences
Not the loud beliefs — the subtle ones:
“Let me earn it.”
“Let me prove myself.”
“These things take time.”

2. Notice your reaction to ease
Do you downplay it?
Sabotage it?
Discredit it?

3. Build a new identity
One where:
effort ≠ worthiness
struggle ≠ legitimacy
pressure ≠ competence

After having worked with-

Growth doesn’t come from more strategy.

It comes from the moment a founder realizes:
“I don’t need to struggle to succeed.”

That’s when confidence returns.

And now, with 2025 wrapping up and 2026 opening ahead, you have a choice:
Repeat the same pattern or upgrade the identity that creates your results.

There was a time in my first three years as a founder when I felt like the world was withdrawing from me nonstop.

I sat alone and asked myself:

That was the beginning of my reset.

Not a strategy reset.

An internal reset.

I rebuilt my boundaries.
I rebuilt my emotional stamina.
I rebuilt my identity as a founder.

And slowly… the leaks closed.

As my energy shifted, my decisions sharpened, my business grew.

And for the first time.

I didn’t feel like I was losing myself to my own success.

And today, I want to help you feel the same shift.

Not through motivation.
Not through hustle.

But through alignment.

Here’s what I want you to do:

Record this truth in your own voice:
“I don’t have to carry everything alone.
I don’t have to be available for everyone.
I deserve to build a business that supports me too.”

Say it.

Feel it.

Let it land in your body.

Because this is where your next version begins.

And if you’re in that phase right now — feeling stretched, tired, over-responsible, unseen, or misunderstood.
