Taking over the creative efforts at an agency that was deeply rooted in complex integrations and known for its technological savviness was... a lot.

But I was curious, I loved a challenge, and I saw a gap between the ask and the value we could deliver. It asked for slight restructuring, rebranding, and navigation of 9 - but we made it happen.

🙌 It resulted in a top-performing revenue channel.

🎯 As I fondly like to remember, that was the moment when we started pushing our brands in new directions, fueling their growth through visual, visionary storytelling.

How to blend multiple passions into ONE cohesive brand.

My 3-step hack to get you unstuck:

I'm pulling this straight from Week 1 of The Multi-Passionate Method™.

We just went through it, and the feedback has been incredible.

One student said: "Magic is happening! I knew the story was important, but this is crazy what an inner change this homework does. My motivation, confidence... I'm super-super excited for this transformation."⚡️

I'll break it down for you right now.

First, here's what most multi-passionates try:

🅧 Write down their job title (consultant)
🅧 Add their secret passion (skincare)
🅧 Force them together (consultant for skincare brands!)

... then wonder why they're not fired up to show up online.

I tried this myself back in the day. Trying to force partnerships + spirituality (aka. my Shopify + Mindvalley background).

But I couldn't make it sexy enough to want to talk about.

So... I didn't.

And sent myself to "Niche Jail". (The place where ambitious professionals go to die with their creativity still inside them.)

One day, I had enough.

"I'm just going to write about what I'm actually into."

That became my early content:

→ Building a freedom career.
→ Modern leadership in the online world.
→ Existential thoughts on status, wealth, and power.

Like bees to honey, professionals started flooding my DMs: "Are you inside my head?!"

That's when I realized I wasn't the only one circling these topics.

So I shared more.

... Until I got a coaching request from a woman who wanted to pivot industries. Then another request from a woman building a side hustle. And a year later: I had a fully-booked coaching practice, quit my 9-5, and worked from Europe every summer.

Here's the 3-step formula:

1️⃣ Find your loudest value.
→ The one guiding ALL your decisions.
✨ Mine: Freedom.

2️⃣ Unpack your biggest personal transformation.
→ Look at your growth as a human.
✨ Mine: Building a career with time + location autonomy.

3️⃣ List your 3-4 favourite passions.
→ Use them as metaphors in your writing.
✨ Mine: Travel, mindset, creativity.

Then, start sharing your transformation through the lens of your hobbies or topics.

See what happened there?

You're not forcing multiple passions together.

You're using them to tell YOUR unique transformation story.

Niche advice says pick one thing.

Multi-passionate wisdom shows you how to strategically showcase them.

The reason my clients are speaking on stages, publishing books, and running online empires is because they found a story they love to tell year after year.

That's why they're still in the game.

That's why they're thought leaders, not sales associates for their business.

Do you know your transformation story?

Going to the gym without seeing results sucks.

So does posting on LinkedIn.

✔️ You’re waking up at 5am.
✔️ Getting 30g of protein.
✔️ Lifting heavy.

But the hardest part? Patience.

(That's why so many run to Ozempic. Shortcuts = no patience needed.) 

But if you're like me, our work requires holding a balance each day:

1️⃣ Grinding daily while being detached from your results.
2️⃣ Studying your results to always be optimizing.

It’s like an evil joke from the universe!

I know I’m not the only one who tries to "study my results" and ends up seeing them as a personal failure, not as data for improvement.

It's why I used to be the queen of eating cookies one night and then writing off the rest of the week because everything was ruined!

Or writing one post that got 5 likes and immediately feeling like it’s not worth it to have a voice online.

I’m glad to report I trained my brain out of that broken logic.

Instead of spiralling when I got low engagement and feeling like a big idiot online, I started studying what to optimize.

To build your "toned" personal brand, you don't need more fasted cardio or starvation diet.

You need to hit your macros:

30% being clear on your soul people.
30% being proactive with networking.
40% writing content people care about.

It's simple. But it's not easy.

So let me help you.

The humble good people stay silent on LinkedIn.

While mediocre minds dominate the feed.

History has shown us:

Evil wins when good people do nothing.

Not just on the world stage.

Most people will say that's "too much."

But I’m not most people.

Neither are you.

What's your "why" for showing up on LinkedIn?

That bold leader you admire isn’t overthinking if her next career pivot will “dilute her brand”. She’s jumping on it and building her toolbox.

Dan Pink calls these people “Boundary Crossers”.

They straddle disciplines, blend ideas, and build a richer perspective than any specialist ever could. The future belongs to exactly this kind of mind.

The bold ones who:

→ See patterns across industries.
→ Translate ideas from one domain to another.
→ Combine multiple passions into one narrative.
→ Challenge traditional boundaries of set job roles.
→ Thrive at intersections where innovation happens.

Yet here you are, overthinking if a move from Operations to Marketing will kill your reputation. Or if launching a coaching business as a consultant will dilute your brand.

What’s going to kill your reputation is overstaying a role, industry, or career you’ve long outgrown.

→ Reads another book. Obsesses.
→ Launches a new offer.
→ Oozes life force.

What the perfectionist professional sees:

Chaos and “all over the place”.

Actually... I take that back. They don't see any of it.

Because from the outside? Founders look polished. 

Very few will ever know what goes on behind-the-scenes. Except me. (And I'm always here to spill the tea so you stop feeling "unprepared" to step into your founder era.)

For 10+ years, I've offered fractional project management for thought leaders.

At the beginning, I would think: “Why can’t these founders get their shit together?!”

I quickly learned:

🅧 It’s not chaos.
✔️ It’s taking fast action.

🅧 It’s not all over the place.
✔️ It’s striking a hot opportunity.

🅧  It’s not messy planning.
✔️ It’s trusting your intuition.

When you’re building something new, you need a little chaos.

What does this mean for your personal brand that you keep overthinking?

It doesn’t need a perfect content calendar. You will end up pumping out boring, stiff, and safe content.

It needs a bold rebel who is willing to say what needs to be said in a way that doesn’t coddle the minds of the masses.

That takes quick thinking, action, and publishing.

It took me a long time to get over my perfectionism to finally do something worthwhile.

It’s not that I fell in love with chaos one day.

It’s that I stopped celebrating being perfect.

So I’ll repeat it for those in the back:

Your “polished persona” in corporate is holding you back from building a “magnetic persona” online.

Unless you want one single income stream for the rest of your life, it's time to get intentional about ditching perfectionism.

Here's a small experiment you can start today to increase your tolerance for chaos:

Do one thing today before you feel ready.

Mine used to be: “I need this post edited 10x so no one can misunderstand anything I’m saying”.

This goes against old school advice.

Here's how this has evolved for me:

Back in my early 20s, having multiple income streams looked like:

🏦 Working in finance during the day → Waiting tables on weekends.

It's what I needed then:

✔️ Extra cash for designer handbags.
✔️ Making new friends who were ambitious.
✔️ Filling my social cup in a productive way.

In my late 20s, it evolved to:

👩‍💻Working in tech during the day → Building a consulting side hustle

It's what I needed then:

✔️ Building an identity outside of my role.
✔️ Reclaiming my brain and skill sets as my own.
✔️ Laying the brand foundations for an online business.

A decade later, I have the most authentic and fulfilling Portfolio Career:

Here's the thing most people don't realize about building a portfolio career:

It's not the big, flashy moves that change your trajectory, but the quiet moves you make when no one's watching.

After years of fighting for promotions and proudly puffing out chests when we finally get them, it's time to mature into a career that doesn't need someone else's approval.

While everyone is making grand announcements, emotionally dumping all their pivots and twists-and-turns, you are focused on making your career 1% better.

Like most other over-functioning professionals, I didn’t actually allow myself to pursue my own stuff until 10pm at night when everyone was sleeping and I could safely spend time on “me”.

Problem is… after 5 minutes I was ready for bed.

It wasn’t until I stepped into being the "CEO of my career" that I owned this truth:

I’m so much more than my job.

Not only did I became more strategic about my career, I also started showing up as an influential leader online.

We need to talk about the other side of being multi-passionate:

Quitting what's still "good".

The linear world has trained us to avoid quitting. (I get it, on the singular pursuit you have to just put one foot in front of the other.)

But in a non-linear career, the rules change.

Quitting doesn't meant you're weak. It means you're evolving.

There's a funky belief I've noticed most high performers carry.

It has to do with friendship:

Somewhere along the way, we picked up this belief that "good friends" have long-term friendships... since kindergarten!

We hold on waaaay too long:

→ To the party friends we have nothing in common with.
→ To the toxic friends whose drama exhausts us.
→ To the friends who avoid their inner healing.

But when we fear outgrowing friendships that no longer serve us...

We don't make space for more fulfilling ones to enter.

The same applies to your career.

You WILL outgrow:

🅧 Jobs that once excited you.
🅧 Skills you once begged to learn.
🅧 Goals that once kept you up at night.

But to maintain your image of being a "good professional", you'll cling to them.

Gripping to work that you know is delaying your next level. ("Just one more year and then I'll try something new...!")

This is your permission slip to let go. Not quit overnight, but to quit energetically. So you can build your next level identity.

Here's a quote that has helped me do this over and over again:

"Don't be afraid to give up the good to go for the great."

And still feel like:

Another cog in the machine.

Because you are.

A replaceable cog… despite your rank, title, or tenure.

If that scares you, you’re over-leveraged on your employer.

If it doesn’t, you’re the CEO of your career.

This is a pep talk I used to give myself every day:

Don’t settle. Don’t take it for granted. Don’t grow co-dependent.

Maybe you're like me and love your job. I did.

But I also lived by this quote:

"Don't be afraid to give up the good to go for the great."

You don't need an existential crisis to want a bigger career. The reason it's so common is that most people won't take action until they have to.

We're different.

But we still need those little reminders.

Tell me if you’ve ever felt this:

→ You join your dream prestigious company.
→ You’re obsessed with the vision and mission.
→ You can’t wait to make an impact on your new team.

And then…

The toxic boss in your head says:

🅧 Stop wasting time on your little passion.
🅧 You’re never going to be as good as this company.
🅧 Don’t be ungrateful by working on your side project.

(PS. It’s not you, it’s linear conditioning that planted this toxic boss in your brain.)

So what choice do you have then?

I’ve done both and here’s what I learned:

Neither will make you happy.

💣 Quitting your passions is just a ticking time bomb until your resentment blows it all up.

🧨 Quitting your job is a slow release dynamite that looks like sunshine and rainbows until you can’t pay your mortgage.

The idea of integrating the two? Feels impossible!

But it's not. It's the future for a system that turns ambitious go-getters into overwhelmed and unfulfilled hustlers.
