I'll give you a few accomplishments that I am proud of since I started here:

I noticed that our pricing model needed to be amended to better serve our clients. After taking time after work to research pricing strategies extensively, I got to work. With the help of another teammate, we cranked out this entire process within two weeks. 

The results? Two contracts were signed within the month. Oh, and our prices actually rose by over 300% too.

My other accomplishment I am proud of involves implementing new marketing channels during my first month with the team that broke our team record for most demos in a month. I had a hunch, did my research, considered our ICP for those channels, and generated 25% of our previous year's lead total. All within one month.

Of course, coronavirus nailed businesses shortly after that and we had to shift focus.

I spent two years following my religious convictions, and I wouldn't trade it for the world. It also made me a better employee, co-worker, and marketer. People say soft skills are great, but people don't understand what it takes to acquire them. This role gave them away in bunches.

I learned how to have compassion for people that were different than me. Being a teammate that works differently with co-workers based on how they work best. Seeing jobs outside of my description that needed to get done, and doing them in a way that helped our team.

It also gave me a great understanding of raising funds and establishing regular touchpoints. During those two years, I raised $65,000+ in order to minister to students at Ole Miss. I had 100+ donors halfway through that process and established a monthly newsletter to thank and update my supporters.

I was directly responsible for increasing our vendor total from 25 to 85 while taking classes full-time as a graduating junior.

I helped grow event attendance from 150 attendees to 3,000+ within four months. Our primary marketing channel and campaign was our Facebook page, which I operated alone. Within a four month period, I built our following by 2,500+ followers.

If you check the reviews of the page, I think an old review from one of the vendors specifically mentions me and my work in vendor relations.

One of the projects that directly contributed to revenue involved our fledgling trivia night. My boss was axing it as I came on board, but I insisted that we keep it and make some changes that would turn it around. He allowed it based on one condition:

I take over as host too. I took on the challenge, made some changes that cut our costs while also increasing the profit that this weekly event brought in. The overall attendance increase? 300%.

Although it was a short summer, this experience had laid the foundation for understanding workload and studying the audience of each client that I worked with at this digital agency.

This was actually where I met my boss at BoardActive. He was my primary client, and we established a relationship that was built strong enough that he brought me back in-house when the opportunity presented itself.

I love making decisions that build trust, showcase expertise, and create differentiation. Picking apart the semantics of content. Creating unique marketing touchpoints that don't have 77 "Ultimate Guides" on the first page of Google. Researching how buyers frame an offering and then putting that in place. 

Challenging myself and my team is a recurring theme. Ensuring we make profitable decisions. Pushing against assumptions and norms. Finding new ways to make the day-to-day operations more efficient. 

As for my future? I wanna build something special. I'm spending my time learning by building something great with our team. That's my winning formula. Learn, grow, and actually get my hands dirty. Could take awhile. Most things that are worth it do.
