Part of my role at Dot Property was to manage real estate agent and developer client accounts and identifying up-sell opportunities. 

Solving problems in a quick and efficient manner either for users or clients. I worked closely with the IT team on daily basis identifying issues on the website and testing new updates.

I was also involved with the production and distribution of Thailand Property Magazine (10,000 copies nation wide). I did weekly research and put together ideas for our blog and news. This was combined into a weekly online newsletter which I sent out on weekly basis to over 100,00 people on our data base. 

Big part of my job was to manage all English social media channels and marketing - Facebook with over 100,000 likes, Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram. I was in charge of our marketing calendar for our clients which involved scheduled social media posts and personalized email marketing blasts on daily/weekly basis. 

Other duties included booking travel, various research and projects done for the CEO and MD of the company, general admin, sales and marketing support.

As a volunteer worker for Jungle Aid, previously known as Connect3E, I was responsible for collecting donations in the form of food, money, clothes, toys etc. I was also involved with documenting the trips to the remote villages through photography. On each trip we went to a different village on the border of Burma and Thailand bringing donations such as food, water, clothes, toys, books and also basic medical care provided by a certified nurse.  During my time with the organization I also organized a photo exhibition to raise funds and awareness of the charity.

During a 4.5 month trip around South East Asia I was lucky enough to overland various countries as well as buying my own motorcycle 'Suzie the Suzuki GN-125' in Vietnam to complete a circa 1500km solo trip from Ho Chi Minh City to Vinh. After selling this and continuing overland I was able to study Advanced Thai Massage at Loi Kroh School in Chiang Mai. I then continued on to Tonsai in order to rockclimb in one of the most beautiful rockclimbing spots in the world.

Story time:

Meet Mike, a 43 year old senior leader

who managed over 100 employees.

He was also a parent and husband. 

More than anything, he loved boxing 🥊 training, giving him a welcome focus away from the stresses of work.

.

One day, he started noticing breathlessness and a tight chest during boxing training. 

He took pride in his fitness and couldn't understand why he was struggling not only with these issues, but also slow recovery. 

He wasn't old, but part of him felt like he was.

.

Eventually he felt so frustrated he went to his doctor, who found nothing wrong. 

He prescribed him an inhaler, based on a childhood history of asthma.

It didn't help.

.

He went to a physio, who told him to breathe through his nose, 

but without further guidance, he gave up because he still felt he couldn't "get enough air". 

.

He went back to his doctor again and again, even having a chest x-ray. 

Still nothing to explain the issues or any help given.

.

4 years later, he stumbled across my social media post about breathing habit retraining.

He read my list of symptoms, and recognised himself instantly.

"I feel like I've tried everything", he explained on a call, "I just keep getting fobbed off by Doctors but I just want to feel normal!"

.

After 6 weeks of 1-2-1 support, he hoped he'd feel more normal. 

But he felt BETTER than normal...

He'd managed to improve his aches, pains, breathlessness and recovery during his training, finally enjoying it fully again.

But that isn't what shocked him. 

This is...

...

He felt less tired after zoom calls.

He'd introduced healthy boundaries around his work, leading the way for his team to do the same.

He felt more chilled out in meetings.

His car journeys felt more restful.

He was more aware of colleagues under pressure, and felt more able to help them deal with this.

He was a BETTER LEADER than he had been 6 weeks before.

"No one teaches you how to cope being a manager", he said.
