Responsible for managing a multi-national team of privacy professionals across the US, Canada, & LatAm in a wide-variety of complex privacy issues such as cross-border data transfers, HIPAA, mergers & acquisitions, and online data collection. This required intense collaboration and leadership across many cross-functional teams to identify issues, drive consensus around compliance, as well as identifying opportunities to take informed business risks. 

Responsible for timely development of privacy operational processes to support new privacy laws such as CCPA/CPRA (California) & LGPD (Brazil). Including coordination with internal data management teams to support data subject rights requests & consent management projects.

Support global privacy office in developing regional privacy guidance based on enterprise policies and standards - working closely with stakeholders to devise business requirements rather than restatements of the law. As often as possible seeking to define baseline compliance rather than overwhelming the business with complex & competing requirements.

Lead roll out of enterprise cookie preference software (OneTrust) in partnership with IT. While leading the Americas program, this project had global impacts which required close collaboration with EU Legal teams to ensure our solution can manage even the most stringent data protection laws.
