I was flipping through a magazine today when a full-page ad stopped me.

“The best camera we’ve ever made.”

At first glance, I thought: Okay, another serious camera brand pushing its gear. The styling, the setup, everything screamed professional photography. I was ready to move on… until I opened the French window.

And that’s when the twist hit.

The camera… slipped into a pocket. And the line read: “It’s also a smartphone.”

In that moment, it all clicked. Xiaomi isn’t just building smartphones anymore they’re building professional camera experiences that happen to live in your pocket. And their new campaign does something almost unthinkable for the category:

It tells you not to date their users.

Creators like Rohit Saraf, Rhea Chakraborty, and Harnaaz Sandhu open with traits most dating culture would call flaws.

Too self-aware.

And then land on one line:
