I ensured that blog posts, newsletters, and other materials were clear, consistent, and ready for publication. As a Donor Relations Officer, I have worked on and continue to support several files:

- helping to plan and launch the major donor and legacy giving programmes

Environmental Law Centre

Hired to implement a brand new fund development plan and program for the Environmental Law Centre, I grew the number of active donors and increased revenue by over 500% in under two years. I developed small-shop strategies for prospect research, cultivation and solicitation, donor stewardship and communications. 

I created and led Green Regs & Ham, a breakfast event to engage the community in learning more about the Centre and environmental law issues in Alberta; this event series continues today.

As Program Manager for Alberta Ecotrust, I oversaw and managed the grantmaking program. I implemented a new grants management database and was responsible for the administration of all awards. I also coordinated a volunteer grants committee of 20 representatives and built new ways to facilitate meetings and tools for volunteer appreciation. I also led the planning for numerous annual networking and learning events, including River Rally and Maximizing Effectiveness.
