Hi, I’m Jatin, a community builder by profession and a content guy from the heart.

Ever since my childhood (literally, like when I was 12 years old), I started a debate club. Back then, I got 8 students from my class and a total of 14 students from other sections together to debate on motions like - THBT ozone layer depletion is a man-made disaster in the making. Trust me, those days this is all we used to talk about.

However, I fell in love with content and community building later when I started, Kuch Bhi Reviews - a YouTube channel. I, along with 2 of my friends, was successful in growing it to 3K+ community members that lead to 200K+ views in a year’s time on the YouTube channel. 

It was great learning that helped me understand the power of doing things together! 

Along with this, I kept participating in debate competitions across the country and got a chance to meet phenomenal speakers. It is when I enjoyed the most being a part of a community. 

In 2016, I decided to do my first internship. Where I got a chance to meet 100+ startup founders PAN India, I interviewed them for a digital marketing agency, Denziti Media under their project, High on Startup.

After such a crazy internship, I was pushed to take up a job but I hadn’t quite figured it out then. So, I joined an internship program in leadership hiring an executive recruitment firm, Crescendo Global Services to understand the recruiter mindset and market demand. Thankfully, I was able to get the answers I was looking for from this internship. 

Finally, I explored the community piece properly with CoHo, one of the 1st coliving brands of India. The journey with them was insightfully ecstatic. I curated over 250+ experiences in less than a year. Met so many people in these events and got to know countless beautiful stories.

I moved to Housr with an intent to build MEGA communities and have been exceedingly happy since then. Housr is India’s 1st MEGA coliving brand that means there are over 500 members living together in one establishment. Now, that’s what I’m talking about!

My true strength lies in my ability to celebrate the victory of another. Trust me when I tell you this, I wasn’t born with it. I had to learn it. If you’d like to know what I’m talking about then a cup of coffee is what I’d like to get with you.

5 days ago, an Indian founder raised ₹90 lakh from one post.

On 24th Dec, Chanakya tweeted asking people to fund his startup.

The aftermath shocked both Ritu and Chanakya (not me).

The replies started coming in.

“repeat customer, interested!”
“would love to look at the roadmap.”
“we are doing 10L per person per startup. 6 of us.”

On Mar 11 at 11:11am, he confirmed they had raised ₹1.90 crore.

₹1 crore from angel network + ₹90 lakh from people on X.

This founder was not Nithin Kamath or Deepinder Goyal or someone with Shark Tank India fame.

That's why I keep telling founders to build credibility, authority and trust on LinkedIn.

One thing AI has made obvious is how much language hides thinking.

Last week I gave 10 people in my team the same tool and got ten very different outputs.

Few use AI to clarify ideas. 
Many use it to decorate confusion.

The gap between "what actually happens" and "how it gets told" can be quite funny.

This Holi leave story is a good example.

LinkedIn versus Reality (leave edition)

The first time I wore pyjamas on stage, I told myself I was breaking “suit culture.”

For decades, Indian business dressed like authority with suits, polished shoes, ties that meant “I belong here” because power lived in institutions: banks, boardrooms, family offices, government jobs. 

If you wanted credibility, you dressed like it.

Then startup money shifted the centre of gravity, suddenly hoodies meant ownership and slippers meant equity. Dressing down meant, “I don’t need approval” and everyone clapped like it was evolution - but both are uniforms.

The suit says, “Respect me.”
The slippers say, “I don’t need your respect.”

Both are signals.
Both are strategy.

In psychology we call it "enclothed cognition" i.e. what you wear changes how you think and behave. 

I’ve felt it. 

When I wear a suit, I sit straighter. I choose my words more carefully. I scan the room for hierarchy. When I wear pyjamas, I lean back. I take space. I speak faster. I assume I belong.

Clothes don’t create confidence.
They amplify the power structure you think you’re inside.

The most insecure founders I’ve met overdress.
The second most insecure ones overdress-down.

Both are trying to control perception.

When I wear pyjamas on stage, it’s signalling too. 
It’s me saying, “I’m above the performance.”
Which is still… performance.

The day I won’t care about what I’m wearing on stage… is the day I won’t need to use it to command the room.

I’m working on it.

In rooms like this, we don’t discuss vanity metrics. We discuss positioning, leverage and long-term narrative control.

Because authority is no longer optional.

It’s a leadership necessity.

With this I attended the Biggest Event of my Life till Date. 

Day 1 at the biggest AI Summit of the world ~ India AI Impact Summit 2026 ! 🇮🇳

3 days. 250km. Loads of Enthusiasm.

I was really excited about the summit for so long and finally attended it. 

From navigating the ways, agenda and different halls to experiencing the mind blowing podcast of Raj Shamani. 

From Standing in the long queues to witnessing the innovating product's of government and tech giants. Almost all the big companies are exhibiting there. 

The venue was too big and accommodated 3 - 4 Lakhs attendees in a Day. 

the scale was so big that I haven't imagined. so many sessions with eminent personalities simultaneously which made me puzzled where to go. 

The biggest mistake I've done was to attend it without proper research. For the first time I've gone for an event without preparation. 

I was unaware, where to go, which session to attend. Still I made it valuable for me, as I met many new people and saw the exhibitions. 

Thanks to my friends who accompanied me to the event which made the overall experience enriching for me. 

Advice I would like to share which might help you in future if you attend such large scale events:

-> Attend with a purpose. Define what you need out of it ~ Network, Job, Business Deal, or Clients. 

-> Less the company, more you'll seek. 

-> Get out of your comfort zone, by approaching strangers. If you lack this skill, then read masterpieces like - How to talk to anyone or how to win frienda and influence people, and practice it in real life. 

-> Don't forget to connect before parting, it could be connecting on social media or exchanging numbers. If you are brave enough then you can click a picture with them too. 

-> Seek opportunities, else create it. But don't wait for them.

Real Life Story : 
-> I was very hungry, so I went to a girl who was eating her tiffin. She was too humble and offered it to me. I accepted it overwhelmingly. 

At the end I would like to thank to Govt Of India, PM Modi and all the people involved in pulling off this grand event. 

And to my friends plus all the people I met or interacted during the event for making it special for me.

Day 2 of India AI Impact Summit 2026 🇮🇳 

Started the day with high energy with Pranav Sharma, later on Vijay Laxmi joined us. Together we went to the convention Hall and networked with speakers, industry leaders and enthusiastic students. 

I spent 2nd day mostly visiting different halls where companies were exhibiting. almost all companies could be found there. I also got a custom tote bag from Adobe. 

My Learnings:
-> Connect with the people you met then and there and take a note of them, their name and what they do, which will help you a lot later one. I haven't done this which is causing me trouble now. 

-> Your motive should be very clear. Else you'll find noise and crowd, not the gold. 

-> Arrive Early and Stay after the end. It is beneficial. Though I failed in this as I was not alone. 

-> For me, alone I network way too much than in a group. You also need to find your strength and make a strategy to get a most out of the experience.

its been quite a long time, from posting daily on linkedin, to staying calm for a bit.

in the last 2 months, I've attended a couple of events, organised many meetups, travelled to new places and learned some life lessons which i will be sharing with you all in the coming days. 

i will be shifting from posting just about my achievements and events to sharing the learnings i got and some of the exciting stories from my life.
