After a startup-weekend event in 2017, the startup ParkPay tried to bring an automatic way of processing the parking tickets for cars in parking storages. 

I worked as a startup founder ranging from building a web application to communicating with other parties to include the parking mechanism in Malls.

We received a small $10K seed fund for developing an online VR science lab for homeschoolers. 

We researched the most common challenges of cost and availability that homeschoolers faced and recreated a dynamic VR experience that taught students how it worked.

Gathered customer feedback, built several prototypes, and participated in the RIT August Demo Day.

Open-sourced a responsive A-Frame component that switched elements based on the connected device.

7 hours and 35 minutes of sleep is my biggest milestone this year.

That happened yesterday, and you won't understand why this is a big deal.

Since 2021, I hadn't slept like this even once.

On the nights I managed 7 hours, I'd still wake up at least 3 times. And the nightmares were an everyday thing.

So I did what felt logical at the time - I worked like crazy at 2 AM, 3 AM, or 4.15 AM.

This struggle had been a personal suffering for years, which only my family knew of.

I journaled a lot of milestones over the last 5 years.

Closed a big client, hit a revenue number, took a trip with family, hosted a friend, supported struggling communities, and more.

Maybe 20% of it was made public, and people clapped.

But nobody claps for sleeping through the night.

No one even knows how relieving it is to experience that after 5 years.

I've learned the hard way what my clients kept telling me- sleep, good food, and time for yourself are the foundation.

I'm in my 20s, and this is my year to celebrate personal victories like this.

From 2021-2024, I rejected countless opportunities to stay home in Kerala.

While reminiscing about the journey with my childhood friend, she asked, "Don't you regret it?"

I think that's where people miss the whole point.

Except for my college days, I've been in my native place. I love the calm vibe here. It's a luxury many can't afford.

English became my thinking language as I worked with only 7 clients in my native language (Malayalam).

By 2025, I've worked with clients from 24 countries and hope to expand further.

But I love that I can speak Malayalam at home, groove to Malayalam songs, and can be truly local here. 

I love traveling and have been traveling often since 2021.

But no matter who I work with or meet at conferences, I prefer coming back home often.

And home is this peaceful native place where I've lived for more than two decades since birth.

The majority of people around you question your choices when you turn down opportunities.

But if it helps you meet your definition of success, you WON!

I'm happy to announce that I got promoted🎉

Promoted from being a “Haha” user to “Hehe” user. 

Apparently, AI police target the ones who use “Haha” frequently and say that it's AI-written. 

Don’t know how to convince them that I’d been a loyal “Haha” user even when the majority used “Lol.”

Will update my next promotion incase “Hehe” gets flagged as well😉

We’ve already seen how insensitive outreach can get with those “Epstein-style” templates.

And then my client received this.

Creative. Attention-grabbing.

But not everyone finds this funny.

She’s an introvert who values privacy.

She has never posted about her husband or kids.

So she found it invasive.

Creativity is powerful, but use it with basic respect.

My best friend had a breakup. She came to me, the one who's always been single, for advice. 

I listened and helped. 

I didn't need to have lived her relationship to understand what she needed. 

Later, an elder cousin asked me for advice on setting boundaries with in-laws after marriage. 

Again, I was helpful, though I was younger and unmarried. 

This is something many people frown upon, saying, "Only the experienced can help with the right solution." 

But you don't need to live someone's life to support them well. 

You need listening skills, pattern recognition, and the wisdom to respect boundaries. 

That's exactly how I approach my work too. 

I've been working on LinkedIn growth and personal branding since 2021. 

Across clients in 24 countries and different industries. 

I don't need to run your business to understand what builds trust. 

I studied people, decision-making, and perception for years. 

And it works because human behavior doesn't change as industries do. 

When you are adamant about working with people "exactly like you", you might be missing out on a lot.

Having a social media manager doesn’t mean you have a LinkedIn expert.

And if you hired a LinkedIn specialist, let them do their job.

And I've seen too many strategies dismissed by teams who don't specialize in this platform.

Most internal SM teams don’t deeply understand LinkedIn.

And even if they’re experienced, it’s not the same as growing multiple client profiles across industries for years.

LinkedIn growth is a different game.

Either you trust the expert you hired.

Or don’t hire them at all.

There shouldn’t be a middle ground.

Don't fall prey to any tool that claims to be safe for automation on LinkedIn.

Because none of them are.

I've been saying this for years. 

And the ones who always disagreed were the people building those tools.

The same people selling you "safe" automation tools will not be there when your account gets restricted.

Now we have an official update from LinkedIn's VP of Product Management, Gyanda Sachdeva:

•Automated comments will be removed from the "Most Relevant" section.

•Consistent automated commenting will result in account restriction.

This came after AI and automated comments flooded the feed in the last few months. 

LinkedIn noticed, and they acted.

The boring game is the winning strategy always.
