I launched my Coaching practice in 2016 and since then completed 1500+ coaching hours and 600+ sales calls offering my coaching program. Previously I spent 17 years in Business Development. 

In the first 2 years of running my coaching practice - I experienced a lot of uncertainty and doubted my ability to sustain my lifestyle purely through coaching. (well, I only renewed my PCC, but that's not something new...) 

As a personal development junkie, I used to believe:

“𝘐𝘧 𝘐 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘵𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘯𝘦𝘹𝘵 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘴𝘦 𝘰𝘳 𝘨𝘦𝘵 𝘢𝘯𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘧𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘺 𝘤𝘦𝘳𝘵𝘪𝘧𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯... 𝘛𝘏𝘌𝘕 𝘮𝘺 𝘤𝘰𝘢𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘱𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘤𝘦 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘵𝘩𝘳𝘪𝘷𝘦.”

Guess what? It didn’t quite work that way. 🙃

Yes, foundational coaching training is ESSENTIAL. But beyond that?

❌ You don’t need another certificate.
🥰 You need to start TRUSTING yourself.
✅ And learn how to sign up well-paying clients.

Here’s the thing:

📜 Certifications make us feel great.
👏 LinkedIn claps roll in when we post them.
❓ But do coaching clients form a neat queue afterward?

There isn't a direct link. 

To attract clients, you need to focus on THAT - learning how to confidently connect and enrol Lovely Humans into your coaching offer.


Will we ever stop learning as Coaches?
Probably not.

That year, while high on nurturing hormones , I 👉

1️⃣ Launched the Abundant Coach Accelerator program for the 1st time! With 2 cohorts full to the brim 
(𝘰𝘬, 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘨𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘴 𝘩𝘦𝘭𝘱 𝘰𝘧 𝘮𝘺 𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘯𝘦𝘳-𝘪𝘯-𝘤𝘳𝘪𝘮𝘦 Danielle Robins) 

2️⃣ Created the whole program and experience from scratch, week by week
(𝘥𝘦𝘴𝘱𝘪𝘵𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘧𝘭𝘶𝘤𝘵𝘶𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘩𝘰𝘳𝘮𝘰𝘯𝘦𝘴)

3️⃣ Delivered those 14 brilliant souls to transition into full-time coaching; following their thriving journeys to this day! 
(𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘬𝘴 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘮𝘦 𝘢𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦! ;) 

...and just on the side - passed my ICF PCC accreditation. 


𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱? 

With much excitement and giddiness, I'm launching the 𝗔𝗖𝗔 𝗟𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 ✨ version of the program, with 2 full cohorts of lovely Coaches, starting next week!
 
Now spilling over into the 3rd cohort (oops!), defo last one before I pop. 

One thing I learnt since my prev pregnancy - things are a LOT easier while the baby is IN than OUT 😅

Another slightly odd and woo-woo thing - I feel a deeper connection to another plane of reality via this new life forming. What I do during this time feels more like flow/channeling vs pushing. I notice it has an effect on others around me too.

Most Coaches think you just post and hope for calls to roll in 🤞

Most often - they 𝗱𝗼𝗻'𝘁, at least not reliably. 

Unless you get 248+ likes per post consistently. Even then, it's not pure math. 

What actually works aren't “better hooks” or trying to please the algorithm.

𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 below the radar make a real difference. 

1) Clear positioning so the right people recognise themselves
2) Consistent, kind outreach that feels authentic to you and to them

Some of these 49 lovely people will become clients.
Some won’t.

And that’s fine - because I’m not relying on luck or mood or reach spikes.
