Manager, Technical Writer-Editor: Policy-SOP Development & Management | Governance | Compliance

Managed centralized policy administration, oversight, & process for the company (formerly Gentiva Health Services) to enhance organizational effectiveness and governance.  Expert policy experience includes operations, office management, compliance, legal, regulatory, risk management, human resources, and financial management.  Developed and edited policies in easy-to-understand plain language that can withstand scrutiny.
•	Developed quality and concise policies and procedures for approximately 50,000 employees in 40 states.  Consulted and collaborated with key clients and stakeholders to achieve business outcomes. 
•	Collaborated with stakeholders on policy activities related to a major corporate-wide survey conducted by an accreditation organization, which was successful.
•	Identified revisions and/or development of state-specific policies with field operations management during review of a state’s regulations to ensure compliance.  
•	Provided policy research in response to inquiries such as legal/discovery requests.
•	Completed integration of policies for the two companies with subject matter experts and stakeholders after Gentiva was sold.

With North America’s largest provider of home health and hospice services, directed the issuance, revision, and communication of company policies and related deliverables for all lines of business and divisions in a timely manner to enhance organizational effectiveness and governance.  Consulted and collaborated with key clients and stakeholders to produce quality documents and achieve business outcomes.  Developed, edited, and improved policies and procedures in easy-to-understand plain language.  Provided project management to address client needs, number, and complexity of projects.  Managed clinical and compliance forms administration.  Oversaw vendor management.  
•	Enhanced the communication process for new and revised policies, forms, and related items.
•	Implemented changes to enhance the Policy Administration website and improve the management and archives of documents.

Served as an internal consultant who developed and implemented new initiatives with three divisions: Consumer Products, Packaged Products, and Communication Papers.  Developed performance improvement initiatives and standard operating policies, procedures, and processes to improve organizational effectiveness.  Reviewed methods of company operations.  Completed and implemented instructional systems design.  

•	Conducted consumer products business process analyses including for customer service/account representative activities.
•	Developed and implemented SAP and whole job training, which produced better trained employees who significantly reduced deductions and improved accounts receivables collections.  Trained new commercial customer account representatives.
•	Coordinated training tracking records management for HR and with Communication Papers Division representatives to maintain compliance of the division's ISO 9001 Certification, which was renewed.
