Most “AI-first” strategies will quietly fail.
Not because the tech isn’t powerful.

But because leadership behaviour hasn’t changed.
➡️ Boards are approving seven-figure AI budgets.
➡️ Exec teams are rolling out tools at pace.
➡️ Headcount is being “optimised.”

Yet decision velocity is flat.
Accountability is blurred.
And the same people still hold the same bottlenecks.

Here’s the part few want to say out loud:
If your operating model still needs consensus to move,
AI just makes you inefficient faster.

The leaders who win in 2026 won’t ask:
“What can AI do?”

They’ll ask:
“What leadership layers can we remove?”
“Which decisions no longer need permission?”
“Who actually owns outcomes now?”

AI doesn’t replace people.
It exposes them.

2026 will reward exec teams brave enough to redesign power,
not just deploy platforms.

Everything else is theatre.

What this puppy taught me about modern sales processes 🐶 


On paper: small, adorable, great potential. ✅ 
In reality: zero structure, infinite confidence, absolutely no respect for process.
She’d start calmly… then suddenly change direction. 😭 

Ignored all commands.
Bring in new “stakeholders” (shoes, cushions, table legs).
Disappeared for long periods.
Then reappear like nothing happened.
And at some point I realised... I’ve seen this before.

Because this is exactly how most sales processes behave:
• High energy, low alignment
• No clear owner
• Random decision makers appearing late
• Long silences followed by urgent chaos
• “Let’s just see how it goes” as a strategy

The difference between chaos and a closed deal?
Structure, patience, and someone willing to keep the puppy on a lead.

Navigating sales through a morning cappuccino... ☕ 


As I waited for my morning meeting...I found myself staring at the coffee art. The layers. The balance. The detail.

It reminded me how much navigating sales feels the same.

On the surface, it looks straightforward. But beneath that first sip are layers you have to move through carefully:
✳️ Navigating stakeholders.
✳️ Navigating timing.
✳️ Navigating trust.
✳️ Navigating objections, budgets, priorities, and internal politics.
✳️ Rush it and you miss the nuance.
✳️ Skip a layer and you lose credibility.
✳️ Push too hard and the whole thing unravels.

The best salespeople don’t force outcomes, they navigate complexity with patience and intent.

Good sales, like good coffee, respects the process.
