ConceptualWorks is an Innovation company that helps problem solvers become visionaries to launch industry-transforming companies and develop future cities through new practices and technologies driven by the 4th industrial revolution(4IR). Business Designer

Maven Auto Technologies LLC

I created Maven Auto Technologies to solve the problem of transparency and a lack of knowledge within the automotive industry. The first product was an online e-commerce platform that permitted consumers to purchase parts, vehicles, find service centers, and educate themselves on their automotive products. The customer would enjoy a 3D interactive experience for parts and vehicle purchases. The marketplace also featured artificial intelligence, like Watson from IBM to guide customers through a conversational purchase experience. The digital platform offered 3D tours of automotive centers for enhanced transparency. I was responsible for shaping the development of the company from the product idea, team, financial model, and long-term vision. The goal was to eventually make a city operating system for autonomous transit. 

- Managed and designed the complete UX/UI of the marketplace using Sketch 3, creating low to high fidelity wireframes. 
- Created requirements document to understand what would be developed. 
- Used InVision to create prototypes and conduct user tests to understand desirability and ease of use for the marketplace, de-risking product design, and launch. 
- Created project requirements, OKR’s and KPIs to meet development tasks, objectives, and milestones in which were managed with Asana.

Braman Miami

While I was a Technical Lead, I also functioned as an assistant supervisor. My role included team management, customer service, and communications with BMW North America. My daily activities included enhancing customer service by working with client advisors to understand client complaints, answer questions, and explain any relevant product information. I was responsible for a team of twelve, including authorizing repairs, productivity, creating estimates, assisting in problem-solving, aiding in claim submissions, and escalating cases of problematic vehicles to the manufacturer.  

- Mentored new hire employees to aid in their understanding of processes, reducing industry turn-over while accelerating production output. 
- Utilized agile processes for a team of 11 members, resulting in an above-average 700hr production output for the week. 
- Analyzed data and rapidly learned various system theories to formulate repair solutions. 
- Documented vehicle repairs using advanced technical writing.

Global Armouring LLC

Global Armoring is a luxury automotive armoring company. While with them, I functioned as a technical lead and project manager. My responsibilities included creating processes for faster vehicle development times, including troubleshooting and quality control. My responsibilities also included sourcing various parts, and aiding in estimate creation. 

- Analyzed data and rapidly learned various system theories to formulate repair solutions. 
- Provided solutions to permit operational delivery to clients.

At Peake BMW I helped mentor other technicians to improve their work strategies and increase their production. Due to my product knowledge, I regularly engaged with clients to better understand complaints, explain estimates, answer questions, and explain any relevant product information. 

- Analyzed vehicle data and rapidly learned various system theories to formulate repair solutions. 
- Provided solutions to the manufacturer reducing buybacks. 
- Average productivity output of 60 to 70hrs a week.

Kendall Dodge Chrysler Jeep & Ram

This was a short-term role I agreed to take before relocating to Louisiana. As a Shop Foreman, I helped the service manager with implementing various strategic initiatives for growth.  

- Aided in customer service for faster problem identification, resulting in expedited solutions and a letter of recommendation from a client. 
- Tutored technicians to reduce exam failure rates. 
- Analyzed data and rapidly learned various system theories to formulate repair solutions. 
- Framed problems on complex vehicle systems, provided solutions to the manufacturer to aid in a reduction of possible buybacks, and increase customer brand satisfaction. 
- Created repair estimates.

Shop Foreman | Team Leader

South Motor Bmw

While at South Motors I had the opportunity to develop from an Entry-Level Technician to a Team Leader; increasing team production by bringing together a dysfunctional team. I was responsible for bridging communication between the team, client advisors, and clients in regards to problematic vehicles, general product information, explanations on repairs, and estimates. I was also responsible for authorizing repairs, team productivity, creating estimates, assisting in problem-solving, aiding in claim submissions, and escalating cases of problematic vehicles to the manufacturer. When Loaner car theft and abuse became a rampant problem, I collaborated with management to create a loaner car management program. I was responsible for the development and operation of the program, including installing tracking/disabling units, updating the management system, training new personnel, retiring loaner cars, and operational readiness of new cars for the fleet.  

- Mentored and trained new employees that later assumed roles as team leaders. 
- Analyzed data and rapidly learned various system theories to formulate repair solutions. 
- Created repair estimates.

Team Leader | Shop Foreman

Limitless Motorworks Llc

Limitless Motorworks LLC is a performance automotive repair shop. I managed the company’s cash flow, financial planning, strategic next actions, meeting requirements; including documenting all “minutes of the meeting”. I was also responsible for customer experience, sales, and shop productivity. 

- Business development to generate present and future revenue resulting in clients from exotic car rental companies. 
- Drafted the incorporation documents and founder's agreement. 
- Maintained technically advance race car systems, resulting in a zero-injury rate and reduced components failure rate.

Performance Tech is a professional American Le Mans race team. While with them I worked as a full role team member, including setting up and tear down of crew equipment. I was responsible for the maintenance, diagnostic, and repair of advanced vehicle race systems.

I learned how to fly when I was only 9 years old.  Being in control of an airplane gave me a vantage few people – let alone children, can claim, and has served as a fitting metaphor for my life.  I see things from a unique perspective, and I have always been fascinated by visionaries, like Howard Hughes, the Wright brothers, Steve Jobs, and Gary V.  I’m drawn to their abilities to see beyond what is and envision what can be because that’s how I think, as well.  I know as well as anyone that it’s scary heading into the unknown, into the often-unchartered “waters of uncertainty.”  But as a consultant and entrepreneur myself, I can see and relate to clients challenged by the complexities of business and life as they struggle to develop and execute relevant strategies effectively. My contribution to their uncertainty comes from the union of my experience as a pilot, a BMW master technician, entrepreneur, and modern-day visionary with a deep interest in learning and challenging the norm for impactful results.
