With over 30 years of experience in the media industry, I am a podcast host and a media entrepreneur who is passionate about the future of work, leadership, and innovation. I have founded and led Menlo Creek Media, a company that helps leaders, marketers, and communications professionals navigate and leverage an AI-driven asynchronous world, by offering executive training for podcast hosts and guests, content creation and media library curation and amplification programs, and community development programs.

Growing up, my life started with what seemed like a picture-perfect family. But at the age of six, that picture shattered—my father murdered my brother and attempted to kill my mother. My mom, sister, and I survived, but our home became a crime scene, and with my father never captured, we were left homeless. At six years old, I lost my father, brother, home, and school, forcing me to grow up far earlier than most.

Despite these challenges, I was fortunate to have teachers who believed in me, challenged me, and encouraged me to rise above my circumstances. Their guidance fueled my determination, allowing me to become the first in my family to graduate from college and build a career in Corporate America.

These early experiences shaped my work ethic and the impact I strive to make professionally. I am passionate about maximizing budgets to create meaningful team-building activities and investing in learning and development opportunities. Privacy and security hold a personal significance for me as a domestic violence survivor—I am dedicated to promoting safety in the digital age for our families, friends, and especially vulnerable groups like children and the elderly.

I am grateful to work with leaders who coach, inspire, and provide opportunities for me to grow beyond the boundaries of my role. My journey has taught me resilience, empathy, and the power of building a safe and supportive environment, both personally and professionally.
