- I work in the Ads business (Walmart Connect) of Walmart. 

- Defined strategy for a suite of machine learning based targeting products for Walmart Connect.

- Worked on 0 to 1 product initiatives involving complex cross functional alignment, obtaining leadership buy-ins, conducting user research, and defining roadmap for Ads products.

Product Manager

- Defined the strategy, secured buy-in, led, and launched a portfolio of complicated iterative improvements for Google’s worldwide payment experiences used by billions of users, delivering impactful results in tight timeframes

- Built a business case for an update to the customer interface for the collection and processing of payments, successfully pitched the plan to leadership, and received support for cross-functional prioritization of the initiative

- Led the definition of fraud and user protection capabilities, including multi-factor authentication and data deletion and retention, which prevented fines and saved millions of dollars in fraud-related losses
Launched deletion and retention tools for the management of sensitive address data for XB Chrome users

Product Manager - Payments

- Drove initiatives supporting autonomous vehicle (robot's) software, including projects focused on improving simulations for testing, infrastructure, and computational advancements

- Initiated internal ops improvements, including documentation for critical simulation and infrastructure features

Technical Product Manager / Program Manager, Infrastructure 

- Pioneered an ML solution using MLPerf benchmarks for image classification, natural language processing, and object detection to assess the performance of software and hardware interactions to evaluate competitive offerings for on-prem Cloud, which was adopted by big tech customers and earned 100% positive customer satisfaction scores

- Executed a strategy to scale the aforementioned ML solution to a more diverse suite of applications, vetting the solution for additional high-computing use cases, and resulting in offering the solution to more customers 

- Launched an internal database product that accelerated the development of an ML-based simulator by up to 50%

- Built demos for go-to-market to prove 4x speedup and prepared marketing collateral to generate sales leads 

- Guided engineering efforts to leverage and adapt a customer’s deep-learning recommendation model running on AMD’s hardware for Cloud to automate the prediction of end-users clicking on digital advertisements

- Supported a multimillion-dollar customer engagement by resolving customers’ pain points, ensuring software ecosystem preparedness, and providing technical support, achieving an 80% shorter turnaround time for testing

- Honored with 3 awards, including the AMD Executive Award 2019 (1/50+), for going above and beyond

My work was done entirely in partnership with Seagate.

- 4 publications and 1 patent for Seagate by leading and creating a diverse team of 4 people of different genders 

- Innovated a product by building a prototype of a next generation product for Seagate with 30x energy efficiency and 10x speedup for machine learning applications

I am Dr. Manas Minglani (PhD), I am a highly skilled product manager working at Walmart in the Advertising business. I have experience building and launching products in startups and large scale companies. 

In my prior role at Google, I worked in payment platforms, transaction processing, and fraud prevention. I have proven success in launching consumer facing products, streamlining processes, and enhancing customer experiences. Moreover, I have demonstrated strong cross-functional leadership skills and ability to deliver results in fast-paced environments. The products I built are for millions of users creating billions of impressions. 

At Nuro, an autonomous vehicle and robotics startup, I worked on several areas including simulation, infrastructure, and others. 

I have won 3 awards in three consecutive years at AMD for building teams, helping customers achieve their goals, and for outstanding work ethics. I built and launched a machine learning based software product for a Fortune 500 customer. This product resulted in substantially improving customer’s satisfaction.

My PhD gave me unique experiences when I worked on state-of-the-art products. I led teams of competent students and mentored a record number of students in my lab to publish 4 papers.

Based on my coworkers, friends, and introspection:

I like working in roles where I get to work in a fast faced & scrappy environment, and get to resolve ambiguity. I want to make an impact and deliver results for my organization.
