The most talented people I know are the hardest on themselves.

They’re driven.

My friend landed a role at a company most people would kill to work for.

The work was great.

The people were great apart from a few.

Those few were difficult. Political. Draining.

The kind of people who suck the energy out of a room.

Everyone knew.
Everyone felt it.
Leadership did nothing.

Because firing felt risky.
Because conflict felt awkward.
Because it was “easier” to leave it alone.

So the best people left instead.
One by one.
Until the culture was gone.
Until performance dipped.

Now that location has permanently closed.

Not because the business failed.
Because the leadership failed the people.

Nothing will kill a great employee faster than watching you tolerate a bad one.

At 9am I thought my biggest problem was work.
By lunchtime, none of it mattered.

Thursday morning I was overwhelmed.

Inbox full. Brain full. Everything felt urgent.

By Thursday afternoon, my mum had had a stroke.

Luckily, she’s fine.

Shaken — as we all are — but okay.

And still, it was a wake-up call.

Because in an instant, every “important” thing from two hours earlier became completely irrelevant.

Life doesn’t gently remind you what matters.

Sometimes it forces a hard reset.

So if you’re feeling overwhelmed today, pause.

Most things can wait.

Loved ones can't 💛

I found an old journal and it blew my mind.

I’ve been giving myself a hard time lately for not being further ahead.

For how long my big goals are taking.

Then I read what I wrote 16 months ago.

Where I am now was EXACTLY where I wanted to be back then.

The money
The work.
The freedom.

I didn’t go slow.
I just got more ambitious.

I replaced old goals with bigger ones so fast I forgot the old ones were ever goals at all.

If you feel behind, it might not be because you are.

It might be because you’ve outgrown the version of you who set the original dream.

Keep going.

You've probably already made it further than you realise.

It’s hard living in a rainforest.

For one thing… it rains, a LOT.

Who knew?! 

The summers here are gorgeous.

AND the dark, wet days can feel relentless.

And I’ll be honest — it gets to me.

When the skies are grey for weeks on end, motivation can dip, energy can wobble, and even the strongest mindset needs a little extra care.

As of yesterday, the darkest days of winter are now behind us.

And for that, I’m deeply grateful.

There’s something comforting about noticing the shift — longer days, lighter mornings, 

I'm taking it as a reminder that nothing stays hard forever.

Including looking for work
Including building a business.
Including tough seasons.

If you’re in your own “dark days” right now; remember spring ALWAYS comes.

Not everyone wants you to win.

Some people want you comfortable.

Predictable.

Small enough that your growth doesn’t challenge their choices.

They’ll call it concern.
They’ll call it realism.
They’ll call it “just looking out for you.”

Momentum comes from the rooms you choose
and the people who regulate — not rattle — your nervous system.

Choose proximity wisely.

Surround yourself with people who lift your energy on the dancefloor, not drain it.

Most people say they want change.

What they actually want is relief.

Relief from overthinking.

Relief from self-doubt.

Relief from doing things that feel uncomfortable.

So they spend their energy analysing the past.

Replaying mistakes.

Trying to “fix” what’s already broken.

You don’t create a new reality by arguing with the old one.

You don’t build confidence by dismantling every fear.

You don’t move forward by staring in the rear-view mirror.

Change doesn’t come from fighting who you’ve been.

It comes from committing to who you’re becoming — daily, imperfectly, without drama.

The secret to change is to put all of your energy not on fighting the old but building the new.

Things I’m Leaving in 2025

Scrolling.
Overworking.
Skipping breaks.
Skipping movement.
Skipping meditation.
Working on holidays.
Eating to get through the day.
Saying yes when my gut says no.
Undercharging for my best work.
Over-delivering to prove my value.
Making decisions from fear instead of strategy.
Ignoring my priorities, desires, and long-term goals.
Attracting people who aren’t aligned with my values.
Worrying about what others think instead of trusting myself.

January confession:

I didn’t hit the ground running.

Instead, I slowed down.

I’m strolling, not sprinting.

Stopping often.

Actually noticing the scenery.

2025 was my best financial year yet — and it cost me more energy than I realised.

My goals for 2026 are bigger.

But I won’t chase them the same way.

This year is about subtraction:
Less over-commitment.
Less over-delivery.
Less people-pleasing.
Fewer “shoulds”.

The ambition is still there.

The scarcity is not.

Because sometimes all we need is to slow down to speed up.

People think I’m in this for the money.

I’m not.

I’m in this to reduce suffering.

Is money important to me?
Yes. Hugely.

Because money buys freedom.

It allows me to build a house on my property for my parents.

It allows me to pay off my mortgage and own my house in full after owing the bank for 30 years.

It allows me to buy safe cars so my children can travel in greater safety.

It allows me to buy ski passes for the boys and send them to ridiculously expensive hip-hop concerts that bring them a ridiculous amount of joy.

Money gives me choice. 
It gives my family security. 
It gives us memories.

And this is exactly why I do what I do.

To save people years of wasted time.
Years of lost money.

Years of frustration, self-doubt, and thinking they’re the problem.

I’ve lived that version.
I know how heavy it is.

And I know it doesn’t have to last as long as it does.

One step at a time is all it takes to get you there.

The biggest myth founders need to break in 2026:
Lower prices equal more sales.

They don’t.

They create more hesitation.

Lower prices attract people who need convincing, reassurance, and rescuing.

In 2025, I tripled my prices.
And I sold more than ever.

Because premium pricing doesn’t change the work.
It changes how seriously the client takes it.

Higher investment leads to faster decisions, more ownership, and real follow-through.

Your pricing isn’t about accessibility.
It’s about standards.

Double your standards and watch half your problems disappear.

I’m not a natural entrepreneur.

I’m thoughtful. Analytical. 

Good at seeing all the angles.
(Which sounds like a strength… until it becomes the reason you don’t move.)

I’m also a big fan of ease.

So I told myself I was being smart:
thinking it through properly 
making sure it was “right” first.

What I didn’t realise was that my intelligence had become a hiding place.

Real ease doesn't come from more thinking.

It comes from deciding, acting, and trusting ourselves to figure it out as we go.

That’s when things get simpler. Easier. Lighter. More profitable.

Because in order to be the 1%, you must be willing to do what 99% won’t.

Today, one of my $250k+ clients asked me a question that stopped me in my tracks:

“What's the number 1 thing you learned scaling your business?”

And my answer was simple:

🎤 If you worry about money when you don’t have enough…

🎤 You’ll still worry about money when you do.

🎤 Because your ceiling becomes your new floor.

You hit the number you swore would change everything…

…and within weeks it becomes normal.

Then you’re right back to:

“What if next month is quieter?”
“What if I can’t keep this up?”
“What if this was just luck?”
“What if I lose it all?”

Not because you’re ungrateful.

Not because you’re bad with money.

But because your brain is doing what brains do: 

➡️ scanning for danger
➡️ preparing for worst case
➡️ trying to keep you safe

And if you’re an introvert solopreneur?

You don’t spiral loudly.
You spiral silently.

More money doesn’t create safety.
Safety creates more money.

Because consistent income isn’t built on hype.

It’s built on:
self-trust
regulation
consistency
decisions made from power (not panic)

If you don’t feel safe at $10k months… you won’t feel safe at $50k months.

The numbers just get bigger. And the fear gets more expensive.

So stop chasing “the number” like it’s the solution.

Build the safety.
Raise your floor.

Only then the income becomes repeatable.

This stuff is not easy.

And by "stuff" I mean being a human being living the human experience.

Trying to grow.
Having big goals.

Caring deeply.
Loving people.

Showing up.
Giving yourself grace.

Doing the things you don’t want to do.

Here’s what most people forget…
Your evolutionary brain has one job:
To keep you alive long enough to reproduce.

That’s it.

Not to make you happy.
Not to help you build a business.
Not to help you hit your goals.
Not to make you feel confident.

Just: survive.

And it does that by running 3 default settings at all times:

1️⃣ Avoid pain
2️⃣ Save energy
3️⃣ Seek pleasure

This is what your brain has been programmed to do for hundreds of thousands of years.

So the fact that every day you still do things that:

drain your energy
feel uncomfortable
don’t give you immediate pleasure

…means something.

It means you are extraordinary.

You, my friends, are the GOAT 🐐

So be kind to yourself.
You’re not lazy.
You’re not broken.
You’re not failing.

You’re doing the bravest thing humans can do:

Overriding survival wiring on purpose.

And that deserves some serious respect.

1 year ago, I knew I needed to quit my job to pursue my dream of building my own coaching business. But for some reason, I was completely terrified of doing that. 

Every week, I would meet with my girlfriends to talk about how I knew I should quit but somehow couldn’t get myself to do it. 

Every therapy session, I would tell my therapist how I felt guilty and apprehensive about leaving. 

The money was not great but it was consistent and paid the bills. 

I really liked my clients (UX & Product Designers). 

And I was scared of leaving something familiar for something that might not happen. I was scared I wouldn’t get to work with designers if I left this bootcamp.

But I realized that living out of alignment would kill me. 
(It was already taking a toll on me).

That my desires are safe guidance. 

And that even if I failed, I would never regret going fully after my dream.

But truly, truly, what do you WANT? 

3. Look for EVIDENCE of other people living the life you want. 

I never would have dared to believe it was possible to start my own coaching business, had I not seen Katy, Ali and Jo doing it. 

Fill yourself with proof. If they can do it, why not you? 

4. If you TRULY want it, GO for it and hire people who will show you the way, so you can just execute. 

I hired  Alli Rizacos to launch my business and in 2 months made half my annual salary.
