I entered this role working with NBC Sports Washington creating promotional television spots for the Washington Commanders, Capitals, and Wizards. At the end of my first month the division sold to Monumental and my role became combined NBC Sports Washington and Monumental Sports. My role has evolved into almost exclusively in-stadium Motion Graphics for the use in the Capitals, Mystics, Wizards, and Capital City GoGo stadiums. 

One notable skillset I've provided to to the team is my ability to create highly complex templates using my extensive knowledge of After Effects Expressions. The results are easy to use bespoke templates that are easy to use and help streamline the production of hundreds of outputs per season.

As a Producer/Editor it is my job to fill the gap between the producer and the editors. On a typical course, which is 12 hours of polished collegiate level videos, my responsibilities include reading the scripts, working with the graphics department to develop a Look and Feel for the course, creating a template project from which the editors can use to increase their efficiencies and maintain a single look throughout the project. Reviewing other editor's work and correcting anything that does not fit with the established Look and Feel. I also use existing imagery in the course and transform them into dynamic 2D-to-3D parallax motion-graphics.

I edited roughly fifty 30 minute collegiate level lectures on various subjects, such as Music and the Brain, King Arthur - History and Legend, and The Gilded Age in America. Each lecture included a mixture of text, image, graphic and motion graphic builds that I created as per the content required.

The original assignment was for the production of four 8-12 minute educational videos for internal clients. This involved designing and producing storyboards, then animating motion graphics in After Effects.

I was also tasked with the production of a series of LED stadium field boards for Major League Soccer sponsorship. This was internationally televised and shown in over 20 games. And I produced a set of motion graphics for LED display boards at the Wells Fargo sponsorship of the Quail Hollow PGA championship.

American Opinion Foundation

When I started at the American Opinion Foundation in October 2010 there were only 2 full time employees and no video department. By the Spring of the following year we had already produced our first Telly Award winning video series as well as a Telly Award winning educational short. Over the course of my employment I was honored to receive a total of 4 Telly awards, 3 for educational videos, and the 4th for an hour long documentary that I executive produced.

On a day to day basis I did every level of production from research, scriptwriting, finding/working with talent, filming, creating elements in After Effects and Motion, editing in Final Cut Pro, color grading, mastering audio, compression, and DVD mastering.
I worked on a swath of types of projects, including but not limited to radio ads, short flashy ads made in After Effects, educational DVD series, and documentary film.

My other responsibilities are Social Media management (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Google+, Pinterest), YouTube Management, online advertising, and light IT work.

My love for digital arts goes all the way back to my childhood, where I used to take my father's various Mac magazines with the CDs full of demo programs and install them one by one. 
In high-school I made a video presentation for a non-governmental organization in Liberia, West Africa. The presentation was widely accepted and shown to thousands of people in the United States, Canada, and Liberia. It was at that point I realized that I had a knack for production.
As an internationally raised individual I am very well traveled, I was raised mostly in West Africa and I have traveled to 19 countries on 4 continents. This has given me a deep appreciation of the diversity of people and the importance of communicating in a way people can receive the information.
