My story in a nutshell:

- Hi-tech and science is what drives me since childhood and I believe it can make the world a better place (am I naive ☮️ ✌🏾?)
- I learnt a lot about innovation & new business development through  10 years in strategy consulting, and innovation centres of multinationals 🌎
- But I realised i still knew nothing when I founded my own startup, Cyclopus back in 2018. Building an innovative and successful product is tough ! 🔨🤯
- Since then, I decided to focus on Sales & Business development to help hi-tech startups reach product/market fit and grow their client portfolio

📈 since 2019, as a Senior Account Executive at Linkurious (50p fintech), I played a pivotal role in the company's transformation. From 2021, I was Sales Team Leader to launch the outbound channel and transform direct sales.

End of 2023 I've had hit pause on my career ⏸️ for a few months to deal with a personal event. Today I look for the next opportunity to help tech startups (pre series A/B) grow their business in France / UK / Spain (EMEA).

A few years ago my friends said, “We need someone for our soccer baseball team.”

It was soccer baseball (lowest of stakes) and I personally set the team back five to seven business days.

The downside of being one of the snarkiest baddies I know is that occasionally I block my own blessings.

Turns out being the physical embodiment of get off my lawn energy can prevent me from simply enjoying shit. 

So I put the snark in the backseat, sunset the rant factory until Jan and…tried a wellness retreat 😅

And look, I'm not a disciple of the church of wim hof or anything, but for someone who spends a lot of time in her own head, it was really nice to step out of it for a few hours—
and to do it in company.

There are 26 days left in 2025 and I’m officially sunsetting the rant factory until January because I am, above all else, benevolent.

I still plan to roam the comment sections, though...just lighter, freer, less intensity.

I’m not superstitious.
But when I was offshore sailing, I observed every last one of these. Not because I suddenly thought the ocean cared about my vibes but because:

a) Tradition makes you feel like you’re part of something bigger than yourself and that feels good. And
b) I was thousands of miles from land on a 40-foot boat with one other person. Ritual starts to feel a lot like self-trust out there.

Anyway, sailors are a superstitious lot and maintain a long list of non-negotiables we absolutely do not tolerate.

Some of my favourites:

No bananas on boats
This one’s ancient and oddly practical. Bananas ripened fast, trapped gas in cargo holds, spoiled other food, and attracted bugs…of the nasty arachnid variety. Sailors who transported them routinely got sick. Possibly from spoiled food, possibly from spider bites. So now a banana on board is a personal insult to Poseidon.

Crossing the equator = swim + offering to the sea gods
Crossing into King Neptune’s domain requires a ritual. Old-school initiations were part hazing, part rite of passage, part psychological reset. We don’t enter a new world without acknowledging it. The ocean likes respect and can you blame her?

On Fridays, we definitely don’t leave port
Friday departures were historically linked to bad weather, rushed prep, and poor planning. It became shorthand for: don’t tempt fate with sloppy timing. Also… Jesus was crucified on a Friday and apparently sailors took notes.

Never rename a boat without a ceremony
A boat’s name is etched into the Ledger of the Deep (obviously). If you change it without formally purging the old name with wine, salt, and apology…you’ve invited long-term maritime beef and an eternity of bad lays (I made that last part up to see if you’re still with me).

Whistling on deck is a no-no
Whistling was believed to mock the wind, which might provoke it into showing off. And the sea is nothing if not petty about that.

Red sky at night, sailor’s delight. Red sky at morning, sailor’s warning.
This one’s actually meteorology, not superstition. High-pressure systems reflect red light at sunset → stable weather. Science said, fine, you can keep this one.

What’s a superstition you secretly honour even though you don’t believe in that stuff?

My completely unsolicited (but wildly accurate) predictions for selling in 2026:

💋 Buyers will continue to say they’re interested while delaying decisions with Olympic-level commitment.
💋 AI will make mediocre sales content even louder, not better.
💋 Hourly pricing will keep quietly killing deals…and people will keep pretending it’s about budget.
💋 The founders who win won’t be the loudest (thanks christ) they’ll be the clearest.
💋 Most deals won’t be lost to competitors. They’ll die of:
Internal hesitation
Risk exposure
Decision paralysis disguised as timing.
💋 Trust will outperform tactics.
 Again. Still. Forever.
💋The real growth strategy of 2026 won’t be hustle. It’ll be:
Packaging
Predictability
Systems that don’t rely on founder adrenaline
💋 Sales cycles will stay slow.
The firms that install proper nurture + relevance rhythms will quietly eat everyone else’s lunch.
💋 The word alignment will be used 47% more often and will still mean we’re not ready but we don’t want to say no.
