Southpac Aerospace

As Director of Marketing & Communications, I oversee all external and internal marketing and communication for the Southpac Group. Working across our three primary companies – Southpac Aerospace, Southpac International Group and Southpac Certifications – I am responsible for marketing planning and strategy, brand management, campaign development and delivery, and analysis of marketing activity, as well as managing the communication of company announcements to both internal and external stakeholders. 

I work closely with key members of each team across the business to develop marketing strategies that support areas of growth, refine or expand our product offering, and increase yield and revenue from both existing and potential clients. 

My role has a strong focus on improving user experience and customer conversions, but equally in promoting a positive experience for employees and managing internal communication across all areas of the Southpac Group.

Southpac Aerospace is the leading provider of aviation training and assurance in the Asia Pacific. Building on Southpac's reputation as the market leader in the industry, my role is to drive the strategic and day-to-day marketing activities of the company and the Group, including Southpac Certifications and Southpac International.

Connecting Southern Gold Coast Ltd

As the Brand & Digital Manager, I am responsible for all Southern Gold Coast digital assets including websites, social media channels and EDMs, as well as the delivery of all marketing and communication for the Southern Gold Coast brand and CSGC-run events. 

Reporting directly to the CEO, I have autonomously established the brand assets for both the Southern Gold Coast and Cooly Rocks On Festival and delivered all the relevant content and communication activities within a busy part-time role.

I have used my skills and knowledge in copy and design to elevate the brands and associated digital platforms. I have also been responsible for spearheading significant projects including the 10 year anniversary brand for Cooly Rocks On Festival 2020, the Southern Gold Coast brand refresh and Support the South small business campaign.

Primarily advising the Minister for Tourism and Small Business on sound government practices to advance the interests of related industries. 

My role involved meeting and consulting with industry, government and members of the public; assisting with formation of strategy and policy direction; clarifying government position on key policies to the general public and key stakeholders; speech preparation; media advice and stakeholder management.

Policy Adviser

State Member for Currumbin - Queensland Parliament

My role included researching and writing parliamentary speeches, assisting with policy formation for Shadow Minister roles (Tourism, Small Business and Public Works), writing and distributing press releases, liaising with key media outlets, formulating media strategy, newsletter content and production, website and social media management.

I was also responsible for engaging with and assisting the general public on a daily basis through online, phone and in-person enquiries, handling a diverse range of topics under the state government administrative banner.
