My role at Southpac Certifications is to grow our network and the Southpac brand within industries or companies with a stake in or need for ISO certification.

Businesses often learn about ISO due to requirements of a tender.  Or they may already know the value of certification since other business leaders or consultants have mentioned its necessity.  Having an external audit of a business is a way to identify weaknesses or opportunities for improvement, so that it can go on to further growth.

The principles of ISO should already be a part of any well-run business.  However, the ISO accreditation process formalizes and measures a companies processes and procedures against internationally accepted standards.  This tells other businesses or government departments that your company is robust, trusted, and has been measured against and meets quality standards.  It provides for consistency in the delivery of products and services to meet performance standards as well as customer expectations.

When ISO began to emerge decades ago, it was to address the needs in the technical, manufacturing, and aviation fields.  However, in the decades since, the same principles have since been applied to a multitude of industries and seen to be just as useful.  

Nearly any industry or business in our modern day can benefit from the formalized approach of ISO accreditation.

Business Development Manager

ASBT

ASBT used government funding to employ Year 11 and 12 students with a disability, so as to assist them to transition to work after high school.  
My role was to initiate and foster relationships with schools, employment providers, and parents/students who were qualified and able to work for us doing a school based traineeship.  
I was our client manager for Toowoomba, Townsville and Cairns regions, and locations in selected areas of Brisbane.  Traveled to these regions regularly.
Responsible to ensure detailed documentation was prepared for government and our office, for the dozens of trainees I enrolled on a rolling basis over school terms.
Business went into liquidation due to Department of Education changing funding criteria.

As a consultant, I provided information on various courses that provide Australian citizens with new skills in order to find a job.  These courses are good for:
