For almost the past decade, I’ve walked alongside Evangelical Churches that feel stretched thin, overwhelmed by technology, or unsure how to reach unengaged neighbors.

I founded FaithVenture Media as a ministry partner for Churches that want to communicate clearly, follow up intentionally, and engage their community, without burnout.

I’ve been an entrepreneur for 41 years — six startups, zero quit.

Once upon a time, I had a job. Then I got fired.
So, what do you do after that? You start something.
Rebel move, right?

From that moment on, I’ve been reimagining how things could and should work —
in startups, tech, venture capital, and even faith.

In the ’90s, I built one of the first coding bootcamps, training thousands of working-class people to become software developers. Everyone said it couldn’t be done. We did it — at scale.

Fast-forward through decades of building, scaling, and turning around tech ventures.

In 2016, I co-founded CanaGlobal, the world’s first faith-driven venture studio and startup incubator — a place where business, purpose, success, and faith collide.

We asked the big questions:
👉 How do we equip thousands of founders to win?
👉 How do we make mentorship and capital accessible to the faith-driven?

We’re doing it. At scale.

Here’s what I’ve learned: founders fail not because they lack hustle — but because they lack help from Heaven.

There are founders who add faith to their business.

For me, it’s not compartmentalized.

My calling is simple, but it governs everything:
 
Bring the Gospel into the marketplace  
by forming builders,  
scaling truth,  
restoring communities,  
and building a Kingdom economy  
that multiplies impact globally.
 
That’s the why.
 
CanaGlobal is the how.
 
Faith and purpose aren’t branding elements for me.
 
They are a decision-making system:
 
Truth over hype.  
Stewardship over ego.  
Obedience over impulse.  
Integrity over shortcuts.  
Family-first.  
Customers-first.
 
If a decision violates those, it’s a no — no matter how profitable it looks.
 
That’s what I mean by faith without performance.
 
Not loud faith.  
Not tribal faith.  
Not “look at me” faith.
 
Rooted faith.
 
Faith becomes oxygen — not marketing.
 
When faith is oxygen, you don’t need to advertise it.  
You breathe it.
 
And when purpose is clear, you don’t chase everything.  
You build what you’re assigned.
 
This is how I bring the Gospel into the marketplace:
 
Not by preaching louder.

Founders tell me they’re “working on GTM.”

Then I ask one question: 
 “Write it on one page.”

Most can’t.

Because what they call GTM is really: 
 ideas, tactics, content, hope… and noise.

Here’s your one-page GTM map. No fluff:

1. Ideal customer
— ”Not “everyone.” One type of buyer with one urgent problem. 

2. Pain
— What are they already paying for (time, money, stress) to make it stop? 

3. Promise
— What outcome do they get—fast, specific, measurable? 

4. Proof 
— What evidence makes your promise believable? 

5. Pathway 
— Your steps from first conversation → first value → paid conversion. 

6. Price 
— Not what you 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘵. What the outcome is worth to them. 

7. Pipeline 
— How many conversations per week to hit your revenue goal? 

If you can’t fill this out cleanly, 
 stop building more features. 

 Stop posting more content. 
 Stop chasing investors.

You don’t need more motion. 
 You need a map.

Founders think investor readiness starts with a pitch deck.

It doesn’t.

It starts with clarity and traction.

If you don’t have customers (or a repeatable path to customers), your deck becomes a story investors have heard 10,000 times.

Here’s investor readiness in the right order:

#1 -  A clear GTM sentence 
— “I help X do Y so they get Z—without A.” 

#2 -  A traction signal 
— Revenue, pipeline velocity, retention, LOIs, paid pilots—something real. 

#3 -  A clean data room 
— Not “we’ll send it later.” 
— Order signals discipline. 

#4 -  A pitch that doesn’t wander 
— If you need 15 minutes to explain the business, you’re still guessing.

#5 -  Outreach built on momentum 
— Warm intros chase traction. 
— Cold outreach chases hope. 

If you want investors, stop begging for meetings. 
Build something that forces curiosity.

Customers first. 
 Capital second.

Always.

If Monday makes you sick, pay attention.

That feeling isn’t laziness. 
 It’s not “lack of grit.”

It’s usually one of two things:

You’re carrying a business that has no system. 
 Or you’re carrying a load God never assigned you.

Most founders dread Monday 
 because Monday exposes reality: 
 
No customers. 
 No pipeline. 
 No clarity. 
 No plan.

So you push harder… 
 and secretly hope something changes.

Here’s the truth: 
 Hope doesn’t create traction. 
 Clarity does.

Before you touch your inbox today, do this:

Name the one thing that’s actually broken. 
 Not the symptoms. The root.

Then ask God for wisdom—specific wisdom. 
  Not vague comfort.

And take one obedient step that moves revenue forward: 
 One customer conversation. 
 One offer refinement. 
 One follow-up run.

You don’t need a new week. 
 You need a new operating system.

Because revenue isn’t a personality trait.
 It’s a system.

If you want customers consistently, you need a weekly “Revenue Meeting” with yourself (or your team). 

Same time. No excuses.

Agenda:

#1  Scoreboard 
— What moved this week? 
— Leads, calls, conversions, revenue. 

#2  Leading indicators 
— How many real sales conversations happened? 
— Not “DMs.” Not “interest.” Conversations. 

#3  Pipeline reality 
— What deals are alive? Which are dead? 
— What’s the next action on each? 

#4  Offer truth 
— Where are people hesitating—and why? 
— Price? trust? outcome? timing? 

#5  Commitments for next week 
— Who do we talk to? 
— What do we ship that increases conversion? 
— What do we stop doing? 

The founders who win don’t “feel motivated.” 
 They run cadence even when they don’t feel like it.

That’s what separates builders from dreamers.
