The team has launched a new open-source Mobile Manipulator repository featuring the MORPH Series—two parallel-manipulator configurations on an omnidirectional base, all running in the simple Google DeepMind MuJoCo interface. Anyone can download, simulate, and experiment with the system.
What stands out is ObotX’s focus on radical affordability (estimated ~$1,500 build cost vs. ~$35,000 industrial systems) and their commitment to keeping the design open for personal and research use. The project is also rooted in a social mission: using accessible robotics to reduce hazardous labor and create pathways away from child labor worldwide

My team and I worked with the NC Sea Grant in the conservation of fisheries and reducing ocean microplastics in the ocean. Graduate Research Assistant @Electromechanics Research Lab

Designed and manufactured a Flight-Control Gimbal System (FCGS) to safely test the flight dynamics of the flying-rolling vehicle (Figure 1), integrating a mechanism with slip-rings and encoders to measure roll, pitch, and yaw. 

Utilized FEA and optimized the system with carbon fiber for lightweight durability. I also assisted in the design and manufacturability of the Second-Generation Gimbal System (Figure 2), fabricating carbon fiber components to enhance performance.

I graduated from NC State with a B.S. and an M.S. in Mechanical engineering. I am super interested in learning more about Control System Design, Robotics Development + Simulations, and Electromechanical Systems.

I've founded a consulting service company that provides engineering services to first-generation, non-traditional, and underrepresented students who face challenges in excelling in engineering school.
