The team has launched a new open-source Mobile Manipulator repository featuring the MORPH Series—two parallel-manipulator configurations on an omnidirectional base, all running in the simple Google DeepMind MuJoCo interface. Anyone can download, simulate, and experiment with the system.
What stands out is ObotX’s focus on radical affordability (estimated ~$1,500 build cost vs. ~$35,000 industrial systems) and their commitment to keeping the design open for personal and research use.
