As a Transformation Partner, I had 2 roles: (1) I operated in the engagement stream of the Product Development function (5000+ organization) and formed a key part of the enabling team. (2) I also partnered with the Polish affiliate (200+ organization) in their transformation journey.
My objective was to understand, get excited about and engage employees in this organizational change, which I (successfully!) achieved through:
•	Managing stakeholder relationships with countless international clients, leadership teams and work stream leads
•	Leading discussions with stakeholders on change and employee engagement 
•	Expertly navigating the complexities and politics associated in driving change in a multinational organization 
•	Leading change interventions, and engaging with functional leaders for focus group sessions and workshops

•	Led the teams and tasks on the organizational change project that made way for the development and delivery of the new pREDi business operating model 
•	Provided strategic support to the Global Head and Leadership Team
•	Managed internal and external communications, skilfully and sensitively handling challenging staff feedback

Global Change Manager & Portfolio Delivery -pREDi (Pharma Research & Early Development-Informatics) 

Group Audit SAP GRC Change Management Project: 
•	Led the team which implemented the global policy for segregation of duties (SoD) and access controls, the process and SAP GRC tool, involving 140 entities and 600 colleagues
•	Created Global Roche Policy, with input from multiple stakeholders including business, IT, Group Audit and KPMG 
•	Led the core project team, resolved 130,000 SoD conflicts in year one and met all project timelines

Hello! I'm Merry Brown – a writer, speaker, mediator, podcast host, and philosopher dedicated to aiding individuals and organizations navigate difficult conversations and conflicts. My latest book, "How to Be Unprofessional at Work: Tips to Ensure Failure," offers a fresh, enlightening perspective on workplace dynamics.

In 2021, after two decades of teaching philosophy, I made a career pivot and established Third Party Workplace Conflict Restoration Services, LLC (3P). The goal of 3P is simple: to train and empower employees and organizations to handle conflict swiftly, justly, and with a restorative, win/win mindset that treats all people with dignity and respect.

Conflict is inevitable in any workplace. However, many are unsure how to effectively address these issues. My work centers on empowering individuals and companies to mitigate and manage conflict, transforming workplaces into spaces free of unmanaged conflicts. I aim to cultivate a culture that recognizes and addresses issues promptly and fairly.

For those grappling with work-related challenges, either with an individual or a group, remember that there is hope. With the right tools and mindset, harmony can be restored to your work environment.

Aside from my conflict resolution work, I'm also an accomplished author. My non-fiction book, "The Food Addict: Recovering from Binge Eating Disorder & Making Peace with Food," provides a raw and powerful narrative on disordered eating. I've also penned two young adult series: The Exiled Trilogy, featuring "The Knowers," "The Second Fall," and "The United," as well as The Four Families series, which includes "Gold Manor Ghost House," "Crimson Hall Ghost House," "Silver Tree Ghost House," and the forthcoming "Serpent Star Ghost House" (expected Spring 2024).

While I love writing and have a passion for helping people solve practical and philosophical problems, my heart is with my family. I adore my husband and my three boys. I am lucky enough to have my parents and mother-in-law live within a mile of my home. I’m from California but have found myself living out life in the sweet small town of Martin, TN. 

What else about me? I’m a sucker for design, color, and all things that shine and shimmer. Beautifully designed buildings, textiles, nature scenes, portraits, garments, TikToks, books, and graphics make me happy.
