Sally was named the 2018 CMO of the Year by the Silicon Valley Business Journal for her transformation of Informatica’s brand and accelerating Informatica’s go-to-market strategies. As Chief Marketing Officer, she led an organization that was responsible for the company's rebranding and repositioning in support of Informatica's growth strategy in new and existing markets, and generating demand for Informatica’s products and solutions globally.  

Sally was responsible for the company’s global integrated marketing, brand strategy, corporate communications, product marketing, digital demand marketing, field marketing, customer and partner marketing efforts as well as marketing operations. Specifically:

-- Successfully led a global brand transformation, including repositioning, messaging, PR/AR, awareness, and demand generation activities in support of transforming Informatica as THE leader in Enterprise Cloud Data Management.
-- Delivered 11 consecutive quarters of marketing pipeline targets with YoY increases from 2017 through H12019.
-- Focused on acceleration of Informatica’s go-to-market strategies through demand generation activities including Account Based Marketing with focus on the G2K and ecosystem partners, Microsoft Azure, AWS, Salesforce and Google.
-- Conceived of and launched the first CSR program for Informatica called the “Next25,” focused on helping under-privileged children starting in sixth grade excel through STEM related programs with the goal of helping them graduate from high school and preparing them for college.

As the Vice President of Worldwide Consumer Marketing for Symantec Corp., the 4th largest software company in the world, Sally was CMO for the Norton business, a $2B business responsible for ensuring consumers understood what the Norton brand stood for beyond traditional anti-virus.  She was tasked with all go-to-market strategies through all channels in support of growing market share worldwide in the consumer marketplace and delivered 17 consecutive quarters of growth.  Responsible for managing a $170M budget, she utilized innovative and engaging approaches for reaching new customers through data-driven, targeted, integrated marketing and promotional activities as well as strategic alliances and partnerships resulting in increased preference for the Norton brand.

Most recently, Sally was responsible for driving the transformation for all of Marketing at Symantec focusing on brand and culture, customer data and insights, marketing analytics, end-to-end customer experience, multi-channel knowledge and marketing automation.  This resulted in a complete re-organization in order to position marketing as a growth engine for Symantec.

Highlights:
- Delivered Symantec’s first and only Marketing predictive modeling tool (MMM), which enabled the right investments across marketing to drive optimal, measurable results.
- Drove marketing automation through CRM and a deep understanding of the marketing vehicles (product, digital, and social) and sales channels that resonated with customers and prospects at various stages of their journey to deliver the right product and message at the right time to increase conversions, generate satisfaction and create customer loyalty.
- Drove digital firsts by delivering Symantec’s first pop-culture integration via a partnership with Anthony Zuicker, creator of CSI, named the most watched TV show in the world, to deliver Cybergeddon, an online movie series, activated in 24 countries delivering 20M online movie views in the first 3 weeks.

- Created a team of Strategic Integrated Marketing Managers (SIMMs) in support of each strategic industry for the Americas resulting in a model adapted globally.
