As Business Development Manager at Athyna, I work side by side with our revenue leaders including closely working with our Head of Rev Ops and CEO. 
I contribute to strategic deal-making effort to improve Athyna’s global footprint to increase user acquisition and revenue, conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs and Arrange business meetings with prospective clients.
I also promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives, keeping records of sales, revenue, invoices etc.

Some other responsibilities include:
- Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support.
- Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers.

Empanada industry, producing more than 8000 frozen Empanadas per month at our facilities at the industrial area. Selling to restaurants, coffee shops, and supermarkets around the area, plus local markets and events. A fast-growing business. Team of 3 people and vision to expand through NSW. 
The business had to close as I had to come back home and Australian borders are closed.

- Attracting new clients by innovating and overseeing the sales process for the business
- Preparing and delivering pitches and presentations to potential new clients
- Researching new market opportunities and oversee growth projects, 
- Creating positive, long-lasting relationships with current and potential clients

Customer service and sales representative for Backpackers world travel and Peterpans adventure travel. Top seller in Byron Bay area.

- Engaging with customers from existing database through various channels (phone, email, SMS, etc.)
- Developing and qualifying leads, resulting in high quality lead generation and conversion
- Successfully acquiring new customers approached on the street and hostel
- Successfully acquiring new customers contacted through Facebook and Instagram
- Preparing reports showing relevant sales statistics for the area
- Lead customers through a sales cycle from initial outreach to close
 - Closing on average 5 to 10 sales per day. 
- Up-selling our products to existing customers
- Organizing events to reach out those potential customers

Achievements: Top seller in Byron Bay area, and top 10 in the whole company (+120 salesperson). Closing 5 to 10 sales per day. Weekly sales of $10.000 to $15.000 aud.

- Providing customer service regarding collection issues, processing customer refunds, and reviewing account adjustments, resolving customer discrepancies, and short payments
- Follow-up with Sales Department regarding customer accounts on a timely basis
- Working with peers to create efficiencies for the department and company through continual improvement of processes to promote department and company practices.

🧠💪🏻 My biggest achievement was founding Holy Moly Empanadas. Living abroad, with no extra cash or experience on the Australian food market. Ended up after a year with a 90k revenue, more than 25.000 empanadas sold, 3 employees, our own factory and appearing on the Australian newspaper. (Sydney Morning Herald, The Australian, Eco - Local newspaper)

💉 COVID was the best and the worst. Started my first own startup with no cash and a big debt. Managed to recover and even appear on the news, until COVID hit back home and had to close. Fail big or go home, I went home. Next time I'll go BIG!
