With over 40 Background Templates for the Landing Pages and Contest Apps, over 50 Timeline Cover backgrounds, 500 Social Media Icons, download buttons etc, you could either utilise our done for you templates or create your own from scratch.

We also had easy drag & drop widgets to add images, text, social media buttons, slideshare presentations, optin forms, contact forms, videos.

Unfortunately after pumping thousands of dollars and hours into this product, I got rapidly out-gunned and out-marketed by entrepreneurs and developers with much deeper pockets! 

I was happy to have helped as many as I did build email lists and an audience using the templates on facebook at the time.

Founder & Creator

For the last 13+ years I’ve been building online lifestyle businesses while traveling the globe.

Currently based in Phuket, Thailand, I left the UK with my family in 2010 with minimal savings and a couple of credit cards.

Since then we’ve visited and lived in 40+ countries and have launched, grown and sold multiple location independent businesses.

Here’s a quick timeline;

2010 – Started online biz, built email list to around 10k, generated $30-$40k selling a Facebook course
2011 – Launched The Social Networking Academy, generated $117k in 7 days during launch
2012 – 2014 – Grew email list & income to 5 fig months via membership site, affiliate marketing, social media courses & coaching.
2015 – Started on Amazon, sold over $1million in products in the first 12 months.
2016-2020 – Built Amazon biz to over $3 million a year in sales (around 20% net profit). Sold early 2020.
2019 – Started Your Lifestyle Business Blog as a bit of a side hobby to share past 10 years experiences. Currently generating $10k/month in affiliate sales & sponsorships. 
2023 - Launched our new YLB 90 Day Goal Setting Planner on Amazon & The Solopreneur Success Formula - a 3.5 hour video course sharing my 13+ years experience with new strategies to start & grow a location independent business in your 50’s & beyond.

The Digital Marketer's Job Title Just Changed (And Nobody Sent a Memo)

I’m 3weeks into building ad optimization engines.

I’m particularly stoked about the engine I’m bootstrapping.

Aside from the usual ad metrics, it reads daily search trends from the web and TikTok. It pulls ad performance from Meta and Google.

Impressions, spend, conversions. Then it looks for patterns across all of them.

The underlying logic is basic economics.

> Impressions are supply. Available attention in the market at a given price.

> Search trends are demand signals. What people are actively looking for right now.

> Conversions tell you where supply and demand are meeting efficiently.

When search demand spikes for a category on Google and TikTok but CPMs on Meta for that same category stay flat, that is a pricing inefficiency.

You are buying attention at yesterday’s price for tomorrow’s demand.

When conversions climb on one platform but cost per impression rises with it, demand has already been priced in.

The arbitrage window is closing.

Most advertisers look at these numbers inside one platform at a time.

They optimize spend against their own campaign history.

That is like setting prices for your store by only looking at your own sales data and ignoring what every other store in the market is charging.

This engine reads across the market.

The goal is not to compete with big tech algorithms. They have more data than I ever will.

The goal is to build a correlation layer on top of their signals.

Meta optimizes for Meta.
Google optimizes for Google.
TikTok optimizes for TikTok.

Nobody optimizes across all three at the same time.

That is where the opportunity sits.

But this is not just about budget allocation.

It also suggests what to do with creatives.
- Which formats to try.
- Which angles to explore.
- What to change based on how platforms like Meta are evolving their ad ranking systems, including how Andromeda now retrieves from a much larger pool of candidate ads before scoring relevance.

The creative strategy has one rule: no rules.

No fixed color palette.
No predetermined tone of voice.
No brand guidelines restricting what gets tested. 

Maximum variation across every dimension.

Most marketers start with assumptions about what their audience wants to see.

Then they test within those assumptions.
Then they optimize within those tests.

Every decision after the first assumption is constrained by it.

I am doing the opposite.

No starting assumptions.
No premature hypotheses.

Let the platforms receive the widest possible range of creative inputs.

Watch what the data surfaces.
Then form conclusions.

Observation first.
Hypothesis second.

I’ll be running this in low budget experiments for a few friends’ businesses.
- No ROI expectations.
- No controlled variables.
- Raw experimentation.

The best way to learn how ad platforms actually behave is to stop assuming you already know and start watching what happens when you remove every constraint.

I will share what I find.

Most MarTech transformations fail before a single tool gets implemented.
Not because the technology was wrong. Because the change equation was never solved.

Michael Beer proposed a formula for organizational transformation:
Change = D x M x P > Cost of Change

D is dissatisfaction.
M is the model of the future.
P is the process. If any equals zero, the change does not hold.

Here is what that looks like in MarTech.

D: Dissatisfaction.
Everyone knows the stack is broken. Reports take days. Data lives in silos. But "everyone knows" is not "leadership has named the problem." Unnamed dissatisfaction produces complaints. Named dissatisfaction produces urgency.

M: Model.
Most roadmaps describe tools to buy. Few describe the organization that needs to exist for those tools to work. A future model is not "implement a CDP." It defines who owns what data, how decisions flow, and what governance prevents tool sprawl.

P: Process.
Process is not a project plan. It is a sequence: communications deeper than a slide deck, working sessions where new operations get tested, and people decisions consistent with the direction.

Cost of Change is what most leaders underestimate. Loss of autonomy over tool selection. Loss of familiar workflows. Loss of control over "their" data. If cost exceeds D x M x P, people resist. Rationally.

Thomke and Loveman add a layer in their HBR article "Act Like a Scientist." Companies without hypotheses and evidence rely too much on experience and too little on reality.

Six principles that translate directly to MarTech:
> Certainties are assumptions until tested.
> Experimentation reduces the cost of error.
> Evidence must outweigh preference.
> Cultures that avoid questioning lose their ability to adapt.
> Without method, leadership becomes narrative.
>Organizations that experiment as strategy learn faster than the market.

Combine this with Beer's equation and MarTech transformation becomes something you can design, test, and adjust.

Then there is the leadership gap.

Hoque, Davenport, and Nelson wrote in MIT Sloan Management Review that most CIOs and CTOs have little authority for the human side of transformation. 

The work that determines success, behavior, coordination, governance, ends up with no owner.

The person responsible for the stack rarely has the mandate to address the organizational changes that determine value.

The challenge is not a new title. It is connecting technology leadership to strategy, structure, and expected behavior.

Three questions before your next MarTech initiative:
> Have you named and quantified the dissatisfaction, or is it still "things could be better"?
> Does your future model describe the organization, not just the tools?
> Is your process building coalitions, or is it a Gantt chart that assumes compliance?

If any answer is no, your equation has a zero.

Anything multiplied by zero is still zero.

A clean, modern wall built from dark blocks. One block in the middle is missing, glowing red. The entire structure above the missing block is cracking and collapsing. No text in the image at all. This works because it instantly communicates "one missing element brings down the whole thing." It maps directly to the zero in the equation without needing to spell it out. 

The military has a concept called "commander's intent."

It means: tell your team what success looks like. Don't tell them how to get there.

This is now the most valuable skill in marketing.

Not copywriting.
Not media buying.
Not dashboard building.

The ability to clearly articulate what you want — so an AI system can execute it for you.

In 2026:
75% of marketers are increasing programmatic budgets.
33% are running AI across creative, media, and measurement at the same time.
56% still don't trust the systems enough to let go.

The gap between those who architect and those who execute is widening fast.

Your title might still say "Marketing Manager."
Your actual job is now "Marketing Architect."
